Legion Master of All achigone?Legion Master of All
gunsotsu, plenty of people reached 800 alch, it wasn't impossible at all. I even used darkmoon faire to get the last 5 skill ups for my profs.Plenty of people also used vantus runes. Especially mythic guilds progressing on a certain tricky boss. We used them too.
http://www.wowhead.com/news=285561/changes-to-professions-in-the-battle-for-azeroth-pre-expansion-patchDefinitely a fine idea for my collection of alts. Always kept me from bothering to get new profs.
This may be a real dumb question so sorry if it is, but its currently the pre-patch and First Aid has been removed - is there actually a way to make bandages with tailoring right now?
New crafting UI sucks toilet water. Blizz should have taken a model from the Skillet addon. What they've given us is pure crap.
How do I learn some of the old recipes, like embersilk bags when trainer it sends me to doesn't show any recipes anymore ?
Im just curious... something doesnt makes sense:in LIVE one char had jc and bs as proofs. i made copy char to beta, and now it has only jc with skill 1, nothing else. all learned reciepes must be gathered agan? and all Blacksmith ones, rare and impossible to get now, also needs to be regained agan? wth? nonsense... or its just BFA beta thing now?
I hate this new learn per expansion professions. You pander way too much to snowflakes. Just level the damn thing! It's NOT hard.. people are just extremely lazy. I skin something that I KNOW for a fact is meant to be orange or yellow but its grey and I get nothing... lol what? Freekin destroyed it -.- Not to forget that every single time I open ANY profession window my entire game lags out. Ugh.. stop snowflaking my game damn it!
Slightly different question: How does this work with achievements where you need some number (higher than 500) to earn the profession achievement. Start at the beginning or just adding the various levels / numbers earned overall?
From this article, quote:"With this change, high-end recipes should be easier to learn. Normally recipes like mounts and pets require high skill requirements, such as 800 to craft and use Elderhorn Riding Harness. However with the squish, this means that Elderhorn Riding Harness will only require 100 points in Legion Leatherworking to use."It looks better the way it come out in this post because the article included the tool tips with each Elderhorn Riding Harness and they look identical .... I think maybe the first one was supposed to be from Legion, before the Pre-Launch and the 2nd one is from BFA? The proof-reader is falling down on the job!I wonder if the author meant to say, it will require 100 points in Legion Leatherworking. And I think this means you use the current expansion's recipes to level up your skill in just that expansion and it does not matter what level you are (if any level) on previous expansions' skill.I think it is going to be confusing if you are really low on a profession; like maybe 100 of the 300 for Classic, but decide to work on BFA and get it to 150 of 150. I guess your profession tab will show you at 150/150 but in reality, you know none of the expansions in between. I noticed Archaeology is remaining the same, so if you are 800 your Profession tab still says 800/800All of it is very strange.
I am confused about this, as Blizzard already made it near impossible to max out certain professions in Legion....Like for instance Mining in Legion was almost impossible to finish because by the time you got to 785, all of the nodes in the Broken Isles were grey. The only way to finish Legion Mining was to do it through the Darkmoon Faire profession quests, which are now pointless. Why is Blizzard trying to destroy professions, and if that is their ultimate goal, why don't they just remove professions from the game completely, which would destroy the game for many? As destroying WOW seems to be all they want to do since Draenor.I am utterly confounded by this new system, and cannot see any benefit whatsoever to destroying one of the most critical RP elements of the game. I guess I should have guessed that, with a new expansion coming out, they were going to to make new, sweeping changes to the gameplay, without thinking them through, but I am thinking now that what Blizzard needs is to lose another 10 - 20 million subscribers, to wake them up that all they are accomplishing is to ruin a game that was amazing once.In any case, my question, how can I max out Legion Mining now, without profession quests, and without the Darkmoon Faire quests? Please advise, and thanks in advance!
I have tested the professions as currently devised. Specifically, I tried leveling Legion leatherworking using Legion leather patterns. I did not gain points on the 80 points I already had, likely because there are no patterns which are not greyed out (aka, do not give experience points) from the Legion xpac. I already have 40 something points in BFA leatherworking, but if this worked like Pandaria cooking, then the Legion leather patterns should still be green or yellow or even orange because they still should be giving experience points. Looks like there are still bugs in the system. It would be nice to have some developer feedback on this issue.
