I like how Feral and Guardian play right now and tbh I don't really want to see much changed ^^"
I would be really happy if they allowed druids more shapeshift forms. Especially travel forms. Druids should be connected to nature and every living thing so for those many animals existing in each zone it would be nice if we could adopt their looks.I mean, isn't it wierd lore wise that all druids shift into bear? even tauren, even troll? i am sure they have their own sturdy animals to be inspired by so why not allow it?I am pretty bored from the thought of the same animal Archtype we all turn into and it would breath so much fresh air for roleplay and transmog. The models exist, so use them! make it a quest, a challenge and many small ones at that and allow me to choose what aspect of nature i am guarding :)
The little picture of all the druids lined up on the main page's news feed is super cute. Is there a bigger version, somewhere?
Title picture is so adorable :p kittiessssssss!
Really digging the series. IM so glad it was druids first. As resto, I'm really hoping that the change to Tranquility isn't set in stone. I will truly miss that ability. As for , Yeah... its not even on my bar, LOL.
I agree with what was said about balance Druids. I'll just add that I'd like the affinity talent row to be removed. I think it is pretty boring overall, and besides, almost all dps specs have only 2 rows for CC and survival skills. But we have 3, decreasing our options to change our dps gameplay. I'd suggest putting some basic habilities of each spec baseline and adding talents more focused on dps, like the effects giving by Legion legendaries.
Speaking about Feral. There has always been the difference of opinion between charge and blink. I personally prefer blink for raiding, its much more powerful for ignoring mechanics or positioning. Charge has always just been better for uptime on boss. Its a big loss but one we can live without. Renewal is just a joke of a talent, please add Stampeding Roar range increase already, something that was heavily requested during Legion beta but was ultimately ignored.Could not agree more in terms of the future of AoE with feral, something that needs to be kept an eye for the entirety of alpha and beta since its the biggest issue feral has had. Also the suggestion of changes to Berserk/Incarnation are also welcome, 3 minute CD playstyle makes us seem like an outdated spec, I would also like to see Incarnation armored versions coming back. And last, for the eternal discussion of bleeds/direct damage, I personally stand more on DD. I like the idea of apply and forget, feral (and all classes really) players need to abandon this mentality of thinking that specs are difficult to play or that the rotation of each spec are any complex. They aren't, Savage Roar adds enough depth the times that it gets used. Emphasis on the word enough, there can most certainly be more, but the point is that there is no need for that. It is true that the feral cycle through expansions has been starting as a slow spec with lots of pooling and as we get more gear and our resources become less relevant we become this super spammy role. If you ask me between those two, which one I get to have the most fun with? Its the latest. I want to feel that I am actually playing the game and that I am actively doing damage, I don't want to watch paint dry in the form of staring at my scrolled damage with just ticks of bleeds. In general, the biggest change that all of Feral community has been asking for has been granted, haste bleeds. With that in mind, if Feral were to stay exactly as it is right now in Legion and import it to BfA with minor changes since sadly we are losing few abilities from our artifact, I would be very content with it as long as the damage balance is done well since PVP is no longer a reason to keep our abilities underperforming due to burst potential. But we have answers for everything and Moonkin affinity makes us a very good melee to have in raid due to positioning, our gimped version of Stampeding Roar can still be good and just in general a sturdy role. I am hoping that Feral shapes out well enough so that I can return to play it as my main as I did for the previous 10 years of playing the game :)
My favorite part of these articles are going to be the comments people have about how "this class is OP" then reading the next comment saying "why doesn't this class get any love" Opinions are funny.
Pvp resto druid here thats really sad to see Displacer Beast go. I've always used that spell, since they added it to the game. Little better seeing Soothe and Hibernate come back though, i use to "Dispel" warriors enrages and put kitty druids/hunter pets to sleep a lot. Healing touch won't be missed, i used it a handful of times in Wrath of the Lich King expansion and a few times in Legion playing around with talents. Really stupid putting Germination on the same talent line as Flourish then making it the one everyone should pick because its a must. Why are talents like this? If im going to pve, of course im going to pick Flourish.. makes my freakin HoTs last longer AND INCREASES THE HEALING THEY DO FOR 8 SECONDS! Thats a crazy amount of time. In pvp, i never took Flourish because the Stonebark talent is just too good in those sticky situations. I've tried Flourish for pvp and I never found a situation I needed to use it. But now with its CRAZY INSANE changes, i might have to pick it. Which is sad. Tranquillity change is meh, wasnt until this expansion was i able to move with it and for pvp, i hardly ever use it since it just makes you the biggest target. BUT I WOULD JUST DISPLACER BEAST AWAY D:..i'm STILL salty about the Mastery changes in this expansion "they don't want us to spam Rejuv yet our mastery demands it"ps: RENEWAL TALENT NEEDS TO GO. NO ONE USES IT! ITS CRAP. GET IT OUT OF HERE.
