hope skin color will be added for all the other races as a barbaershop option
Warlocks used to be able to communicate with other warlocks when in demon form. It was great :D
So.... blood elf DH are the master race? I knew it.
Aren't Pandareen able to communicate cross faction? Everyone forgets about Pandareens! Even Blizzard it seems, especially Blizzard!
Typo! "The defeat language on a Void Elf character is Common." Think it's "default", haha.\r\rIn today's day and age, with the Alliance and the Horde having (begrudgingly) cooperated on so many warfronts, the language barrier feels artificial. I know there are gameplay reasons to have it, but I'm glad there are some logical exceptions to it.\r\rNot so much gameplay as keeping people from being super crappy to each other in pvp settings.
Aren't Pandareen able to communicate cross faction? Everyone forgets about Pandareens! Even Blizzard it seems, especially Blizzard!\r\rI was about to correct you, but you're right. Originally, once pandaren got off the Wandering Isle and joined a faction, they were given restricted versions of their language to prevent cross-faction communication. But this was changed in Legion, so now any pandaren can talk to any other.\r\rSo we currently have three different cross-faction communication lines: pandaren, demon hunters, and void\/blood elves.
Unlike the original races, the Void Elves and other allied races are allowed to change their skin colour in any Barber Shop.\r\rLast I checked (which, admittedly, was a good while ago), Tauren have been able to do this since Barber shops were released. If you count fur as skin in this case.
As it should be, just because they take the Void doesn't mean they forget their native language haha. Would've also been nice to give them the ability to speak Shath'yar (The Language of the Old Gods and Void)Really hoping they add Skin Color change to the old races as well. That way Character Customization becomes only a Sex Change.Edits: Grammar.
Can mages (who know all of their factions languages) use this as well? I don't have friends to test this myself :(
they put lots of work into the void elfs, almost seems like more details were put into the void elves than nightborne. From what I've seen and read online the nightborne's faces don't really even resemble the npc nightborne models in legion. Hope they aren't done working on them.
I get why cross-faction communication is not possible in general, especially in BGs and on PVP servers, but for the sake of roleplay (and for friends who play on different factions) I wish there was some way to learn other languages for fun, like a skill you could level up. There could be a daily quest, a daily language lesson, and after a while you could unlock the ability to speak orcish for exemple. The time and effort it'd take would probably weed out the idiots who'd only want to use it to grief others. Hopefully. Now that I think about it, it'd be nice to have something like that for lore too. Something in archeology maybe, where you could pick up tomes of a series of books or whatever and unlock the history of an event, or race, or characters, and maybe get a little fun animation telling you that story. And after collecting enough you could get a Historian title or maybe a permanent buff, like History Buff :P
Well, if they are human shouldn't they know better what their language is called? XD
Technically speaking Taurens, Worgens, and Pandarens can all change their fur color which is like a skin color in a way but yeah besides that all the other races can't. Would be a neat feature to add at some point though.

Everyone forgets about Pandareens! Even Blizzard it seems, especially Blizzard!\r\rSad and true. Sylvanas didn\u2019t even invite Ji to the banquet. At least we turned up in Dalaran in a few logical spots.
the player nightborne faces are much better looking than the npc faces, so stiff and undefined.
Can mages (who know all of their factions languages) use this as well? I don't have friends to test this myself :(\r\rI checked on my Alliance mage and I could not. Then again, I haven't unlocked Void Elves yet. But considering we lost the ability to speak Pandaren when it became cross-faction, I find it very unlikely. :(
