Will that be enough to do it? Not to imply that the extra health is a problem on MoP worldbosses, it's actually rather nice there, but I know Sha of Anger for example had 7.63m health in patch 7.3.2, and these days it's around 35 million for a L110 player. It would need to be reduced by something like ~75% to return to the 7.3.2 values. Maybe Sha isn't representative and they gave it extra health on purpose to help us out, I didn't check actual MoP raids yet.Additionally, many player reports are that the damage buff in legacy pre-squish content was reduced in 7.3.5. Has that changed in the PTR?
Why can't they somehow increase our damage against lower leveled mobs drastically instead of nerfing and taking away the challenge for players who are on par with the content? Wasn't there something like this pre-7.3.5?
Fandral in the firelands as actually like 4 times it's original healthpool, these changes looks pretty weak to be quite honest.
Why can't they somehow increase our damage against lower leveled mobs drastically instead of nerfing and taking away the challenge for players who are on par with the content? Wasn't there something like this pre-7.3.5?Yes but it was applied due to the WoD squish and only affected content before MoP. I imagine MoP and WoD content will be affected during the next squish and things will balance out then. No reason to do it twice in that sense, especially since it might cause (more) problems. That said, some of the problem is the fact there are mechanics that make encounters unsoloable\/have an arbitrary enrage timer that generally take a while to address (look at Thorim, for example). Probably doesn't help that there's no Raiding With Leashes achievements for MoP raids yet.

I forgot they're making another stat squish and it will probably make soloing old content easier, not to mention we'll be 120.
Taking 3min to kill Horridon on 25m H ToT when my fastest kill is 16 sec is just gross.

If that's the case, then I'll take all this back and agree that the suggested health decreases seem awfully small.
Ran SoO to the Sha of Pride on the PTR with my pally - grabbed Tier Pieces and Trinkets in Dalaran before I went in so I had about a 946 ilvl, which is about 6 levels and a 4 set bonus higher than on live. I've been farming Mythic SoO for some mogs, so thought I might compare. Currently not subbed - just taking a break, so I can't compare this to live.\r\rFelt Immersus and Protectors took a bit longer than usual, as did the Nourshen encounter (Amalgam had about 39 Million health), but all were somewhat reasonable. Given that I didn't have a few of my Macros and keybinds setup for the PTR, and the fact that the first two bosses have some mechanics in the encounters I could chalk some of it up to that. \r\rSha of Pride had about 50 million health, and I felt it took about the same amount of time as usual. No health issues (but his mechanic is just an insta-wipe right?).\r\rI can't imagine what Amalgam in ToT must be like now...
There is a lot of gear to grab in legion. Gear will fix it if you cannot do it right away - especially as the hp gets readjusted down. Imho one really does not need to be able to solo every raid with a naked character. Many of the problematic bosses have still been soloed even with the extra health the last few days. Those logs are from live: https:\/\/www.warcraftlogs.com\/reports\/bvfPTnwLWMzg8Rq9\/#fight=59&type=damage-done to demonstrate feasibility.A lot of stuff is doable. 960 isn't even mythic geared. There are characters that are approaching 980 as we speak.
Thank goodness it was an error, I was checking the days left on my account preparing to cancel if this was intentional.
Does it fix dungeon-loot not being forced into Personal even in private groups?
They need to change the chess event in Karazhan - the increased health makes Medivh\u2019s pieces unkillable! World bosses like rukhmar are now also unkillable.\r\rAnd what about the terrible changes to forced personal loot? They are leaving that in old dungeons after the outrage at what it\u2019s done to Transmog collectors? Not enough Blizzard. Not enough.
This part of the statement has been stuck in my mind since I read it yesterday:\r"our intention was never to greatly increase the difficulty of soloing old raid content"\r\rSo while the actual effect of the change was probably unintentional given their past stance on solo farming old raids, the increased health itself seems planned.\rWhile a slight increase wouldn't be an issue to most players. Hell, it might even make some old raid achievements easier since we basically one-shot bosses unless you hit them unarmed. But it remains to be seen how far back they're willing to dial the healthpools back.\r\rKilling a boss in 15 seconds or 45 is no big deal, but going from instagib to wiping due to boss mechanics is obviously not what they had in mind, thankfully.\r\rAnd yes, getting rid of personal loot for solo farm runs would be great, but I think that will remain wishful thinking for the time being.
I would like to see Algalons HP\/Damage scailing nerf a lot. Ive ran a few Herald runs, and 2minutes is roughly a kill, now 2minutes gets you to 91% on his hp bar. So the fight is impossible now to run Herald of the Titans, this really needs to be fixed too.
INCREASE DMG for mobs please they hits for nothing.

There is no way in hell you could burn Algalon in 2 min, bar some bugs or -maybe- a perfect maximized team with a long streak of lucky crits and procs.
The people just totally cool with this make me laugh. Blizzard could do anything and fanboys would praise them for it.It's funny how Blizzard devs admitted this whole change was unintended, but they're still not taking it back to the level it was before. My guess is this was intended, and they're hoping no one notices that it's still made worse than it was before 7.3.5It's like someone carjacking you, but when you complain they agree to only take your wallet and you thank them for it.
The answer to power creep for old content (if it even needs an answer at all) isn't "make it mathematically impossible". Algalon has a 6 minute enrage timer. That's not doable, at all, with level 80s now. Herald is impossible. If that was their intention they should have made that clear prior to the patch.
Leveling is crap.
