Breg did say quite a few times in the video there are players who prefer farming and enjoy it and that there is absolutely nothing wrong that. I also enjoyed that video, an excellent watch 👌😁That said. Feeling very excited about TSM4 and the more I hear, the harder it gets to wait 😉The farming classes part was an interesting read also.Ty Gumdrops for yet another informative & interesting article 👌
To farm old stuff in dungeon/raid, I use a warrior personnally. The Boots Legendary (20-25% move speed) + The Shoulders (3 Heroic Leap) + Sephuz (10% move speed) when I've used the heroic leap charges are great. That and speed on all the other pieces and you can rush every instances!
I prefer a feral druid with Ekowraith and Luffa Wrappings. Thrash becomes a 29 yard room sweeper constantly echoed by Shadow Thrash and paired with excellent movement speed.
I too love my druids for farming of all all kinds. One thing not mentioned above is that if farming old raids/dgs for specific boss drops etc , druid can can just pop into feral and go stealth to avoid all the trash. Yeah, purists may feel the need/desire to kill all the trash for some rare drops, but when I'm farming for specific pets or xmog or whatever just from the main bosses, its nice to go feral/stealth and dash past all the trash. And of course druid bear has a very decent aoe for when u DO want kill all that trash.Something else overlooked about druid is aqutic form. Herbs and ore are not only found on land.
CLASS HALL MISSIONS! Thats MY 'gold factory'.First of all, I'm a very dedicated wow player. I have 24 110's on a 2 linked realms. One of each class on horde and alliance. All of their followers are at lease 900. And im now getting them all up to 950. I make between 20k-30k day total from all toons. This is with VERY minimal 'work' involved. Warlock,Warrior,Demon Hunter, Mage all get an instant complete of one WQ/day so they get 'free' resources. Everybody else needs to do a wq now and then to 'feed the minions'. Other than that, I just sit back with my coffee and manage my empire.Hopefully we have many more months before blizz takes away this lucrative source of income. At the moment I have $60 in blizz balance saved up for the next XPAC, and i'm currently subbed thru 9/20/18. If there is interest I will happily write up a detailed guide about how to a) level toons specifically for mission gold. b) what addons to use c) best classes etc.
A very interesting read as someone who is constantly short on gold and interested about getting a bit more serious about the whole "farming" thing. It's also great to see that honorbuddy finally got waht it deserved and hopefully other programs like it will follow suit sooner rather than later.
I'm with you magiccozmo - I use an alt army to generate at least 1 WoW token every week just on class order missions. I have 16 toons with 950s fully epic champions (always use the 7 champ order hall upgrade of course - troops are mostly not needed once you get up to snuff). I would suggest you all invest in getting meatball - he is ridiculously OP and I put him on every toon. And only use the advanced troops that cost order hall res to help you get your champs up to epic/950 - then never use them. Always do the blood missions as they will feed order hall resources to your alts.I also like using the WoW app (I use an android emulator on the PC) as it is way faster to run through 24 toons to keep the hall in shape; then I login on toons I want to play. Works well to keep me going without too much time dedicated to farming.
Such a good read. I enjoy the economy "mini-game" in WoW. Maximizing gold income can be very difficult, but there is plenty of way to achieve it. Personally the one I consider the funniest is flipping items, following the old fashioned rule of "Buy cheap, sell higher". It may requires a bit of knowledge about markets, but sites such Wowhead and Theunderminejournal, and programs like TSM are a great help.About farming, I do it just in low population servers, where AH don't give me what I am looking for. Druids are the best for it in my opinion. And as always, thanks for posting.
Thanks for another interesting article! I consider myself an amateur gold maker: making mostly money by putting materials up on AH and doing followers missions.
For all my fellow 'goblins' out there, I created a guide with info on getting the most gold out Class Hall(s)Enjoy!
I don't really consider myself to be a gold-maker, mostly because it isn't the part of the game I enjoy most or spend the most amount of time doing. However I do play the game with an eye toward making gold (now at least, I really didn't before the Token allowed me to subscribe for gold). I am, at best, an amateur. I sell a fair amount of materials I gather (love the shoulder enchants for this) and generally keep an eye out for deals and desirables to sell, but I don't use any add-ons that help. I know that puts me at a disadvantage, but the time involved in learning them seems daunting. I spend 15 minutes, usually twice a day to list on the AH, but that's about all I want to be spending, for the most part. I don't want to manage an empire, I just want to support my WoW habit with...my WoW habit. I made about 800k over the past month, but 200k of that was from farming and selling 5 Naxxy pets thanks to the recent Holiday Event. Still, so far that's more than enough to keep ahead of the gold creep and the creeping price of Tokens, so it's enough for me.
