I wanted the Dark Below, and shadow hunters. FeelsBadMan
They're really building up an exciting story, I cant wait
I swear, DO NOT TOUCH VEREESA
I was really hyped for Old Gods. Hopefully this wont get paused for bfa!
I can almost 100% guarantee that Azerite has absolutely nothing to do with the burning of the tree/nor is that azerite in the picture. Teldrassil is home to we don't know how many elves. Pretty sure that's just light we are seeing in the artists own style. I really think people are trying to overthink this. Same thing with the elf on the ground. It could be someone significant. It could also just be random elf soldier #38, put there just to show you "look, war has consequences". Seeing a body means a lot more than a bunch of fallen weapons with no one around. And as far as the other group from UC doing it, I doubt that too. If we can take anything literal from these let's ask ourselves this, "Why is Sylvanas there prior to the burning if she doesn't do it/have something to do with it herself"? She certainly wouldn't be there to save it, or to just chill on the beach and watch the upcoming bonfire. When it happens as far as the timeline of this vs UC raid, we don't know until we play the scenario's or until Blizzard tells us.
We know the Goblins are trying to aquire massive amounts of Azurite. My guess is it is for this. Far to little information to really make any educated guess. Also, I'm not convinced that Veressa is helping Sylvanas. Especially with Alleria staunchly on the Alliance side of things.
Speculations, intrigues, tensions building.. burning Teldrassil, attacking Lordaeron.. The Old Gods will just sit back, take some popcorn and enjoy the show
Teldrassil is much too big and much too powerful to be burned. Trees are immune to fire.
Damn hordes...
I hope Sylv doesnt go super ultra evil... I suppose we'll see where her character ends up.
I truly think, like they did with Warlords of Draenor, they are using Battle for Azeroth as a stepping stone to the next expansion. A lot of the forums say we NEED this to happen. To some degree I feel we do need to get out our hostilities. There will never truly be peace on Azeroth. This game is build upon the warring factions. Going back to Warcraft. There will always be conflict between the factions. No matter what outside influences we face or fight together, there is going to be bad blood. Everyone that tried to make peace (Jaina, Anduin, Etc.) have come to see it doesn't work and have taken the opposite stance in the end.
all that bad stuff gathers up and eventually it will overflow, almost feels like MoP once again, when alliance n horde set foot on Pandaria all went to hell from the need of power, land, riches and all that, n when two fight, who knows maybe a 3rd one will come n claim the win with first two weakened :)
For the horde! Kill 'em all ! Syl <3
It always makes me sad when they destroy the beautiful landscapes in the game, for the purpose of story. I was pretty devastated when they did it to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms in MoP. I feel I shall be once again saddened by landscape changes.
Divide and Conquer.
I hope the Windrunners get back together again and make some sort of peace. I’d be pissed if they Horde just all out attacks Teldrassil, but I guess I’ll have to take what they give me.As for Old Gods: I’m guessing the some of the raids will be somehow related to the Old Gods. I haven’t heard much about what the raids will be though yet.
It's going to be insane to see the World Tree burned, such an iconic piece of Azeroth.
if nothing else blizz is good at hyping up every expac.
ughh please don't have Horde losing another leader at the end of this, it's getting old...
I would be terribly disappointed if Sylvanas is the one to burn Teldrassil for $%^&s and giggles. The Horde has been hit with the villain bat far too frequently, and it is time for something else to happen. Be it the Naga, Old Gods, anything, just not the most obvious "hurr Horde's bad durr" choice.
