Essence so far that I have gotten:
20 from Mythic+ chest
4 from CoF emissary chest

I've been saying this for the past couple months it seems. At this point would it be such a big deal to allow us to do the World Boss World tour like back in MoP? The issue is that there was a gap in time between the servers being up and the "970 upgrade quest is active" flag getting tripped (this happened around 8:25 pacific, fwiw). If you did anything that would grant essences during that time - open caches, open the M+ box, etc - they didn't appear. Everything is working fine for people who didn't jump right in, just people who assumed that Blizzard was competent and would have it working as soon as servers were up. :P Comment by DKong27 Wasn't Levantus just up a couple weeks ago? It is random unfortunately. Many wish there was a rotation.
