Diablo Event Clarifications

Just when you thought the Burning Legion invasion was the only one, creatures of Sanctuary have started pouring into Azeroth to celebrate 20 years of Diablo.From now through January 9, players who complete Legion dungeons will spawn a naughty Treasure Goblin. Defeating him will reward some loot and open a portal to a place that has long since only been rumored to exist—the infamous Cow Level. Killing the The Cow King* will reward a unique toy and a Feat of Strength. Slaughter enough goblins and you’ll be able to complete a Tome of Town Portal toy or collect a 28-slot Horadric Satchel.

Don’t miss out on this special event! *While the Cow Level can be visited multiple times, you’ll get just one shot at the Cow King’s loot, so make it ~~cownt~~ count.

Yep, just to confirm the The Cow King can only be looted once per character. The rest of the goodies from the event can be obtained from the Treasure Goblins.

Orgrim would have worn his famous Doomplate in the sequel.

Dalaran would have landed in the Alterac Mountains and we'd see the Kirin Tor react to Llane's death and be more open about the use of magic.

The Horde Story Line would cover Go'el's imprisonment while the Alliance Story Line would cover Khadgar, Varian, and Lothar.

This means that if you want the additional items, you will need to farm the Treasure Goblins. Pretty easy since they spawn every few minutes in Dalaran Sewers.Comment by moosecat11Such a short event for a big milestone. It may be a celebration for another game...but it's kind of a big thing that's easily missable if you're not currently around (especially for people taking a break before Nighthold). I hope it does come back in the future for those that miss it, since there's toys involved.Comment by mysticalosI feel like the diablo event could have been more. The tome didn't have a unique animation at all. it's literally just a hearthstone animation with a different name. Dark portal, etc have their own uniqueness and I expected same quality of tome of town portal.

Cow king didn't have chained lightning or anything menacing really.

SOJs, where are they? Town portal toy is a letdown, just a normal HS.Comment by TuvockI managed to collect the achievement, the guitar and the tome for this event but I wanted a character to beat the cow king to loot the polearm weapon thats available but it didn't drop so if the polearm hasn't dropped for this character, do I now have to get another character to try and get it or do the goblins drop this polearm weapon too?Comment by andreios"Would have been" doesn't sound very much like we have a lot of hope for a Warcraft film sequel. That's a shame - it was a decent film. If it never existed, no one would have any complaints about it. I get that implementation feedback is worthwhile, what with all the ganking issues, etc. - that's perfectly valid imo. However, people whining about the rewards is pretty unnecessary - I for one am thankful for two extra toys and an achievement that I wouldn't have otherwise! They didn't even have to do anything cross-game at all, but they did.
