Realm first comment ? ;)Blimey, no kidding , gonna watch party from europe tonight !
Aghhh I've always wanted to go to a Wowhead party. I've never been able to afford the trip for BlizzCon, it's nice to know I can watch other people having fun from my PC. Thanks, Wowhead! :D
So excited I get to go this year! I can't wait to go and enjoy all the hard work you folks put into this <3
A little bummed on the prize wheel change. Last year you just got in line for a chance, now you have to be lucky enough to get picked at a chance at something. Meh.
Have a great time at the party everyone!
gunna watch about an hour till it starts that is if the time is right since its 5pm now
wait so the people going to the party cant get WoW virtual item codes such as big blizzard bear murkidan ect but only the people watching streaming can?
10 min hype
they are late its 6:13
they are late its 6:13\r\rIt is 6 pm PST - there are 2 hours left :)
Didn't get blizzCon Tickets but found baby sitter last min. So Im headed to the Wowhead Party! Anyone know if line has started for non RSVP yet and where to park?
I got into the stream late. Loving it tho. :D
Went to the party, was a huge line for the claw machine, a few wristband numbers were called to try the wheel, mostly if ur digits start with 9 none that started with 6 or 7 were called.Pansear mostly handed out prizes to her guildies, friends, and family but there was a kind worker there with glasses a nice guy who fairly was trying to make sure everyone got a prize, after all lots of ppl flew in from various countries so its much appreciated that he was one of the few kind people on the stage. Also Method was nice they tried to make sure everyone got a pin. After that only people who been to a wowhead party before were being chosen for prizes, if u had wowhead shirts from previous parties or wowhead pins from other parties, while people who came for the first time were ignored. It was cool though that everyone there loved world of warcraft. Mostly everyone left the afterparty instantly when they realized there was nothing special there except buying more alcohol, was nothing interesting at the afterparty just music and very crowded, with most of the crowd in line to buy more drinks. I'm not sure what the virtual codes that were give out via livestream were, there was no mention of that at all at the party.\r\rp.s. there were no special drinks, it wast just budlight and anything else u can find at walmart, no special cups or bottles either food carts werent warcraft themed either

Wasn't someone from Method who said WoW sucks? And they are guests? lol
This frostwolf cub is so adorable, can we buy it somewhere? Or the twin blade key chain? I'd love that :)
the streaming was awesome, almost like being there, almost :-)
love u, blizzcon s2
There's an after-party in my pants and all gnomes are invited.

I appreciate your compliment that I tried to be fair. We did our best in that respect... at the one point you mentioned when I started calling people up with some older pins or shirts, it was because I was trying to find something unique enough on the spot so that not too many people would be eligible. You're right though, I hadn't considered the fact that it might put first timers off. In hindsight I wish I had thought of something perhaps a little less focused on past parties. At the after party I just randomly ran up to people to give them a chance at prizes with easy WoW trivia. The after party was intended to just be a place to continue hanging out with your friends in a comfortable environment without having to jam yourselves into the main bar, which is historically very packed. In the past the party just ended and people had to fend for themselves.\r\rAbout the prize wheel, last year the line was so long a large majority of people spent the entire time just waiting in it... away from the stream. We received a great deal of feedback that this wasn't how they wanted to spend their evening, especially when they ended up winning something they felt was insignificant. The idea here was to allow people to come join the party without any real expectation at a prize and then be pleasantly surprised when they received one.\r\rI hope, overall, we were able to accomplish that. Your feedback is appreciated and I think we're continuing to improve the party situation year-over-year.\r\rI look forward to next time!
