The chain of events set in motion when Garrosh escaped to Draenor has continued, unbroken for all its twists and turns, leading to this very moment. Thwarted in Draenor, Gul'dan now stands on the precipice of achieving ultimate victory on behalf of his Legion masters. Standing atop the Nighthold, as the vortex of fel energy swirls in the skies overhead, the outcast orc warlock awaits his destiny.
*Illdian holds the Skull of Gul'Dan* Me: Oh nice, a new skull for him to talk to and do shakespear imitations with*Illdian crushes the skull*Me: Oh no, why...?
I found that strangely satisfying after what he put us through in WoD and Legion so far.I said it before and I'll say it again- he (who I shall not name to spoil it) is the biggest bada** in WoW.
I was not prepared.*_*
Oh now it's even. Varian had his body disintegrated by Gul'dan, only to have Illidan do the same to him.
You all missed the true reveal of the cinematicIllidan sneaked behind Gul'dan out of nowhere.Illidan is Batman!
But guys, take a look again on the Mythic spoiler,Stage Three: The Demon Within: When Gul'dan reaches 10% health remaining, Archmage Khadgar attempts to return Illidan's soul to his dormant body. Unbeknownst to Khadgar a dark, outworldly presence was filling Illidan's mortal shell, and the consequences of Khadgar's actions incite deadly consequences... (Mythic) If it was truly Illidan's soul, wouldn't Khadgar somehow "noticed" Illidan? And the words "consequences of Khadgar's actions incite deadly consequences... " >> this really give me unsettling feeling and an assumption...Maybe it was Sargeras himself that possessed Illidan's dormant body, and luring the heroes (us) to his own lair...(the abyss) Noooooo!
I wonder where Illidan means by "the abyss". Argus? Some other place in the Twisting Nether/Dark Beyond? Also, why did he crush AU Gul'dan's skull?
I've added the following message to the post:
Ok, is there a video here? I can't see any.
