Warcraft "the movie" Acting 65- 70 Atmosphere and graphics 90 Story 75 As a loyal fan for WoW i give it a final verdict 78 /100The movie will get hammerd by the crtics but iam sure that every single Wow player willl enjoy it , i just hope blizzard do not gave up on making a sequal for the this beautiful universe ..... hell with the critics and the non players (if they will not like it).Go watch the movie it's freakin epic
More or less I agree with you. It's funny that in my opinion, the CGI characters were acting better than most real actors :DBut yes, as a WoW player I enjoyed it a lot. Really hoping for a sequel or sequels!
I hope they sell the movie on the Battle.NET shop, so it's attached to our battle.NET account.I watched the movie in an IMAX 3D theater. The cinematography was the high point of the film, the CGI was very natural and very well done. The storytelling and introduction to Warcraft was also very well done, there were a lot of moments that shocked and others that entertained. It's really pushing the PG 13, but somehow the movie reviewers missed the light-hearted parts of the movie, showing the happy side of the Orcs. I had no issues with any of the actors, Medivh was probably my favorite, and the pacing is only a problem to someone who didn't read the "War" in the title "Warcraft," which usually has two or more sides. Of course they'll be showing more than just one side, especially when the movie starts out explaining the invaders, and then explains the human side. I give it a 10/10.
As a fan of the game's soundtracks, this is neat. The fact the soundtracks are available on Soundcloud might be useful for something I'm doing (roll20 sessions), but I'll need to report back later to answer the inquiry well.
I have a review up on my Tumblr, in summary:
Film is awesome. I was crying all the film
I watched it - and, in my opinion, this movie is mediocre. In nutshell: amazing visuals - but awfully weak story.

Still cant wait to watch the movie. Also didnt know you had discord. (must've missed that part). But I was wondering, can anyone randomly join in regardless if seen the movie?
Dear Wowhead Officials, I hope you read this. I have an awesome idea. Since you will be at the Warcraft premier in california june 6th, you guys should hand out Legion beta keys to the Warcraft fans who come to view the event and support the Blizzard company. Most likely they will be the fans across the street from the premier. I would even travel way there just for a chance at a Legion beta key!
I haven't seen the movie yet. But it will get my money. Even though I feel like the trailers have pretty much given away all the plot lines. I mean seriously STOP showing us more and more of the movie. The first few trailers had me hooked. But all the character features are just too much. Its not Overwatch I don't need a detailed character break down for everyone. Also it kinda saddens me that US box office numbers are being lowballed so much. People complain all the time that Hollywood never makes original films. But when ever something comes along they aren't familiar with they don't check it out or support it. And critics honestly mean nothing these days. They are too busy cashing checks from Disney to have an original opinion for themselves. Go see the movie. Make your own opinion if its good or not. I see Warcraft like Pacific Rim. Not greatly supported in the US. But hopefully over seas markets will perform good enough to warrant a sequel. I wish the movie great success. And I already know it will be a buy when It comes out on Google play.
I haven't enough knowledge of the lore to know if I'd enjoy the movie.Still, I find it's ironic that they can give us box office numbers, but not subscription numbers... (Yes, I know, different metrics. It's just a bit of snark.)
Great to see positive reviews; either way my wife and I are going to see it for her birthday and I expect we'll enjoy it ;) Side note - Love the Garfield shirt! Where can I get one?
I was on film 2 times already. It is great! Many easter eggs for fans. Insane CGI and very nice and correct story, based on books and actual game.
I really-really love the movie, that was amazing. 9/10
