“Warlords of Draenor isn’t just the best Warcraft expansion in years; it’s a return to form as the best MMO in the industry.”- Polygon, November 26th, 2014It hurts to read that
Yeah. First month of Warlords was good but then it all slowly went downhill...
its same way around... release,,, woah, amazing,,, time goes on... it becomes same old things and stuff... boring as hell. as soon people explore all, there is nothing much to do, besides raid, wipe, and repeat.im just curious,,, will there be more of movies, cause they only taking one small piece of lore from game, it has potential. of course, assume it all depends on income from it. but... this way lore becomes more interesting than ingame. i just hope, they not gona ruine it, just so it looks better on big screens :)
I don't often comment, but wanted to applaud Panser's "review of the negative reviews". Awesome job with your fact gathering on the reviewers. You had me at 4 stars for Dragonball: Evolution. You really did a great job making the response factual and not just emotional.

I mean what they actually put into WoD was good, it was just that there was so little put in post-launch that everything stagnated so hard. They obviously felt like prioritizing Legion was a better decision than continuing to support Draenor, but it'll remain to be seen whether that was the best idea. If Legion ends up being really good and gets a significant amount of post-release support (Mists-level or better) then their choice was a solid one, but there'll always be the specter of "what if they drop this expansion as quickly as WoD and move on to the next just as fast" hanging over every expansion for the rest of the game's life, I think.
I don't really like how they described Gul'dan in that. He's always been my favorite villian, if not favorite character over all, specifically because he wasn't doing it for the greater good. He wasn't some big betrayal story like Illidan or Kael'thas, he was just after power pure and simple, and was willing to use his own people as pawns to obtain it. Now that they say in the movie he's doing it "to insure the survival of their species" I'm not quite sure how to feel about this.Movie in general looks okay though, looking forward to seeing it.
Thanks for the review Panser, really like your optimism and love for the franchise! Just as I do....Gonna watch it next wednesday and honestly I dont care if its good or not. I'm gona see it multiple times just because its the movie about the world where I lived in the last 11/12 years...and even its bad i'll still buy the director's cut just to support Blizzard / Legendary Pictures as a thank you for making a movie about my favorite game.
Panser, thank you for this. Just thank you.You soundly refuted the naysayers who seem to only say nay because others have said nay. To this, I say NAY!Have a great day.Okay?
Spoiler free movie review: 4/10, not worth.
"passion project" or not it was a bad movie. Uwe Boll would be proud of such terrible efforts.
I like the revamp of that website linked above, but the quotes at the very bottom of it have me in awe. I know WoD could have been more than what it is, even though I didn't mind it for what it was. I've played every expansion, and each one had its good and bad moments. How I see it is from Warcraft 1 to Warcraft 3, Classic WoW to WotLK, Cataclysm to WoD, each section is a chapter and with Legion, it will be the start of the fourth one — fresh and unique.
