The Dalaran fountain didn't have a chance at pvp though, this could cause a lot of problems for people who are simply there to fish. Comment by sbensen Why with the flying? As if making the Dalaran underground PVP wasnt bad enough they now fill it with PvE rewards. They likely wont be breeding a healthy PvP zone by doing this, just an area for trolling. Its being tiered out in phases. You'll have a set of achievements at launch that will give you a pathfinder buff for faster ground speed but also be required as a part of a larger achievement later for flying in another patch. Crowding we can deal with, but i wont be anywhere near that pool from 8-11 pm on my server, BMAH is a giant pvp zone then. Comment by AeronPeryton I haven't followed Dalaran 2.0 very closely\r

I honestly can't tell. It seems like all the descriptions of what it's like is meant for players on PvP servers. I'm hoping that on PvE servers simply means that the underbelly is no longer a sanctuary. Comment by Random0223 I hope BETA or prepatch is coming soon.. Seeing all the footage from Alpha is making my mouth water. I'd love to test the features and experience some of what's new. Anything has to be better than the craptastic, complete and utter, non-content failure that the WoD xpac is. So looking forward to news about actual gameplay, outside of what we've already seen.

The hirable guards don't prevent you from being flagged as far as I can tell they merely soak up a few hits for you. For example, i hired a guard and was exploring and some rogues were fighting over the chests that spawn down there. I was able to loot two of the chests while they were distracted and when they switched to me my channeling wasn't interrupted till my guard died. He lasted probably 5 seconds vs undergeared alpha players. i expect a wave of complaints at launch then, because knowing blizzard they'll do nothing in beta testing \r

stupid idea to lock the fishing vendor into a pvp only area
