Comment by lahtinen Today's Legion model preview is the Fox mount. This recent build added some of its animations, although others are still incomplete. However, in the video, you can see the fox chase its own tail!\r

W8, so if I understood it corectly, you wont be getting those "certain" trinket procs you get at the beggining of fights anymore in Legion? Vol'jin is apparently MIA at this point in Legion, which is very sad taking that he did very much during his time as Warchief in WoD, such as... uh...

Sending other trolls to Draenor to help us, I guess? Comment by Iriador Just great I HATE HATE HATE and LOATHE on use trinkets. It's just one more thing for me to micro freaking manage. I often as healer or dps don't have the split second to spare to click an on use trinket. I celebrate every time I can swap to a trinket that has a proc, and they often have better and way cooler effects than an on use trinket.\r

It wasn't broken! Why go and "FIX" it? I think these resources could have been better allocated to something else; like class balancing so I don't have to play a spec I dislike to raid. Comment by guardiantitan I sincerely hope that fox gets a collar or SOMETHING that the reins attach to. The things look like they're bolted to the poor thing's neck or skull. Such a different mount only to be marred by something that's effectively animal cruelty. Considering the doodads don't look completed, there's hope there's a collar or bridle being added.

It also:
1.) idles too bouncy (it moves WAY too much when just standing there). A fox doesn't stand and bounce like it's caught in hurricane force winds. The idle bounced should be toned down considerably.
2.) the saddle location is too far back resulting in the player sitting way too far back. You're effectively sitting on the haunches which would be awkward for the animal to move. Only animal we sit on the rear end of is the camel ... and I suppose ostrich if you want to consider those.
3.) the fact that the fox runs with an arched back with a rider on it is really unfair for the fox. The rider would put a lot of weight on the back forcing the fox to move differently than it would normally likely causing it pain (another case of animal cruelty).
4.) Something about the gait doesn't look right. The animal doesn't look like it has any weight to it. It moves too lightly for a mount. The animal has to be like 400-600 lbs at that size. With a rider that could be like 100 lbs for a gnome in full plate up to maybe 500 lbs for a tauren in full plate, that fox looks to move way too lightly.
5.) Rider's legs clip into the saddle which is disappointing. The hands also clip into it when running but that's typical for Blizzard. You'd think by now Blizzard would know how to avoid clipping and yet it seems to get worse every expansion.

Only thing I found cute was the special animations.

Here's hoping we don't get 12 recolors of the fox like we did the boar and wolves in WoD. Red fox, black fox, grey fox, tricolor fox, brown fox, fel fox, white fox, blue fox, astral fox, glowing red fox, glowing black fox, glowing grey fox, glowing white fox. That's 13 and excludes a glowing tricolor, brown, fel, blue, or astral which would be 5 more making 18. With Blizzard's love of glowing outlined models lately, you can bet the fox will likely be one of the ones to get that treatment.

Have to wonder if Blizzard really knows what they're doing with Vol'jin and Varian. One minute they're dead, the next MIA, then seemingly dead again. >_> Are they changing the story due to complaints about killing them off or are they teetering internally between two potential story lines and don't know what they're going with at the end of Legion yet? I'm hoping we don't see another Grommash. Having the story changed abruptly and resulting in him getting off without even a slap on the wrist was incredibly stupid. I really hope they have the story finalized before release this time and don't change it mid-expansion. I'd rather have a predictable well written story than a half baked one like what Grommash got. It's the music that plays in the inns in dwarven towns.

If I read rightly, Varian is MIA too, and Anduin has the crown. Again. Comment by FreeZeMaN55 Trinkets not always procing on pull? Yeah, thanks Blizzard, we definitely need more RNG in the game... Ridiculous. Comment by Twingear I will still rather use random proc trinkets. I hate on use ones since they often don't stack up with CD's for all spacs they are intended for, and frankly I much prefer to have a buff to watch for than a button to micromanage.
