Its Warleader Tome which drops Outrider's Bridle Chain and is (as far as I know) the ONLY rare spawn in WoD that people in Beta have not been able to track down consistently. I am just baffled that there isn't a 2-handed strength weapon, whether it be a pole arm, mace, or sword.\r

1- Since most rares are "personal," does that mean all will be present the first time I reach a zone? If not, what will make them appear? Do other players' actions affect how often my rares will spawn?

2- What does it mean when you say a rare becomes "normal" after you kill it for the first time? Is the EXP it gives reduced? Assuming it is harder to kill than normal mobs, are the rare's stats dropped to the level of comparable unnamed mobs? Is there any benefit to killing it a second (or twelfth) time?

3- For hunters, if you tame a rare while it is rare, will it be stronger as a pet than if you do so when it reappears as a normal mob? Yes, there are even a couple of dailies that sometimes take place in Shadowmoon Valley, for horde. (Also, cool username)\r

honestly, don't feel bad. I was there and it was mostly lagging and dying, and the whole thing left me depressed anyway XD
