Nice! Thanks you! ;*
Leatherworkers can craft a... direwolf? So they stitch one together like those dogs from ICC's plague quarter?
Leatherworkers can craft a... direwolf? So they stitch one together like those dogs from ICC's plague quarter?\r\rTechnically, you are just making the saddle\/harness. It summons a direwolf the same way that a bridle summons a horse from thin air: the willing suspension of disbelief.
nice! thanks for the guide, oh and did they change something about First Aid? D:
Will a 600-700 smith who builds the forge (or a leatherworker with a tannery, etc) craft higher ilevel gear than a toon without professions who builds a forge or tannery or tailor emp? I would hope so but then there are statements like: \r\rIf you select the Forge without having Blacksmithing, an NPC can craft Draenor Blacksmithing recipes for you. Another NPC can generate shipments of Truesteel Ingot.\r\ror how the enchanter's study... Allows the production of Enchanting items and allows non-Enchanters to disenchant items.\r\rTrying to figure out the garrison each alt will build and if leveling crafting matters.
Leatherworking mount! I wanted to be able to make the kites from pandaria, which woulda made a bit more sense.. but I'll take it!
New UPDATED claws of Shirvallah model, haven't seen it yet here in wowdead :)\rhttps:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=R07B8u7z7_8
Thanks, we'll definitely highlight it soon :)
Okay, so now Leatherworkers can make a freaking mount too? HELLO! What about the Blacksmiths! I'll take an enchanted flying anvil at this point.....anything!
Are work orders of use if you have that specific profession anyway? E.g. is it better to let the npc make the pots for you instead of doing it yourself?

"Cooking: Cooking has been greatly simplified, players learn new recipes by cooking or tasting Draenor food.\r\rGathering professions (Herbalism, Mining, Skinning) have easy ways to level up in Draenor, as well as Garrison buildings to make getting these materials easier even for non-gatherers."\r\rYikes. Just hand us our max level skills on a plate, why doncha? =\/ Ugh... I'm gonna keep playing WoW, but I'm definitely disappointed with how easy WoD is gonna make so many things.
Hello,\r\rIf we don\u00b4t like the changes they made to our professions, is WoD providing a less painful solution for rerolling or the system stays the same? (clear your profession and start levelling all the way from 0, which would require a great deal of time to get back at max level). It really concerns me timewise to start that boring process again :S.\r\rThank you for your help.
Finally something nice for LW....and so fluffy! <3

If a non-leatherworker can have gear crafted for them, why did I raise my LW from 1-600 only to find out anyone can get the same gear on their own without all that effort? I'm hoping the non-prof recipes are few compared to what the profs get -- and like you suggest, possibly lower level.
Yeeeeah... As much as I do honestly kind of enjoy leveling up professions just for its own sake, I really do hope garrisons aren't going to make professions essentially redundant.
I think the Garrison won't make gathering redundant at all... They said the same thing about the Sunsong Ranch and those 16 spaces have hardly replaced my gathering...

I'm gonna keep playing WoW, but I'm definitely disappointed with how easy WoD is gonna make so many things.I find nothing wrong with it. You make it sound like profession levelling is hard or challenging as it is. I don't find it challenging at all, nor in any way super exciting and fun to level. It is more interesting to work to obtain or earn recipes at max level, as many recipes up until them are almost useless, especially at max level. You still have to get the mats and do the work to level it.The Garrison buildings are very likely to be just like the MoP farm, it provides at least something (rather than nothing) for those without the crafting or gathering profession, or helps enhance for those who do. I can almost guarantee that someone WITHOUT skinning is going to be able to gather the amount of mats that someone WITH skinner going out and farming for leathers. Same for crafting. It was mentioned that when you have your companions or whatever go do things like dungeons or quests, there will be a timer when they will get back. Same will probably be for this. You might have a cooldown between crafting, things might cost more, or, as others have mentioned, have higher ilevel items for those with the actual craft. As for things like cooking.. I am very glad and excited. It makes sense; in real life you learn and gain experience by practicing and cooking more and by tasting flavors and foods to be able to put together your own recipes. It is more creative than just going to the trainer and clicking "train." I find it more interesting to level that way, not always having the same recipe discovered from one toon to the next or having to practice\/use\/discover something in particular to learn something specific.

In MoP, they made a way to level from 0-600 for Blacksmithing, using only ghost iron, up until higher-level MoP stuff. This allows us to skip the farming tour across the world, but at a price. You still have to farm a friggin crap ton of ghost iron to accomplish this, which I chose to skip for that reason. I did use it in some cases where the mats to level in some spots like BC to Wrath levels were too inconvenient for me to want to spend the time farming heh. I think they may offer more options like this, but it still will not be the shortcut you are looking for.

I'm hoping the non-prof recipes are few compared to what the profs get -- and like you suggest, possibly lower level. So far we know that selecting a profession that you already have will give you access to a certain rare recipes, upgrade items and gears at a low cost (sometimes gold cost). For example blacksmith will get you:- Rare-quality armor recipes, weapons, and Truesteel Grinder (2nd stats reroll) cost gold.- Epic Truesteel armor costs 1 Secret of Draenor Blacksmithing- Special items cost 5 Secret of Draenor Blacksmithing- Epic Augmentations cost 15 Secret of Draenor BlacksmithingAll those above cost a heck loads of mats if crafted normally. In the case that you select a profession that your character don't have, you will still get access to all the WoD recipes but with a cost of Secret of Draenor Blacksmithing, which is a reward from certain Garrison missions, and it would cost you a lots of it to learn all the recipes. Once you've learned the recipes, it will cost you normal bs mats to craft those gears\/ weapon\/ upgrade items.Meanwhile, if you are bs, by selecting bs building, you will be able to purchase rare gears recipes (can not be upgraded), weapons recipes (can be upgraded), stats reroll recipe with gold, and you can buy BOE epic with Secret of Draenor Blacksmithing. In other words, you can pretty much ignore mining mats, recipes, and go straight for those BOE with just Garrison missions rewards. "Ignore mining mats" is not a very accurate term since you still need to get enough mining mats to craft that default blue weapon because it is not available with a "secret of Draenor BS" cost, and also in order to craft that stats rerolling item.*Note that the stats rerolling recipes are BOP and are only available to those selecting BS while already having BS on their character. The actual reroll items are BOE and can be put on AH though. Same deal with the weapons recipes, and the rare gears recipes.I guess it applies to all other crafting professions as well. There is still one question remains though. As far as I've researched, garrisons building are the only recipes sources, are there any other sources to them recipes? If not, we will still have to start with the same garrison professions, learn all the recipes, and then reroll garrisons building if we want to.
