So now these casting slows are worthless. They're making the same mistake they did back in Cataclysm when they reduced Mortal Strike and other similar reduced healing effects to 10%. It's unnecessary.
I like to see some background logic to the casting slow nerfs. This is odd considering they've been this way since what .. LK days? Why the nerf now?
The complaints that casting in PvP is weak and overly defensible are numerous. I'm sure this is just one step of potentially several designed to make casting stronger in PvP. It does seem like only a partial step toward that goal, as slowing effects aren't even the main reason casting is hazardous, but it's a step.

Did you ever see a team without a Mortal strike effect outside of Ele\/lock\/x before they nerfed it (post-wotk)? No. not a chance. It was necessary.As a player who's played enhancement since the game was released it was really frustrating from season 1-8 to not be able to play with casters because you really needed MS. Not exactly strange we played melee cleaves.
Its all about freak mages.... Come ON!

They may as well have just removed the debuffs. Nobody is going to use them now. They're useless.

It doesn't seem to be mentioned in the list, but has anyone else noticed the change to 15min cooldown from 10min cooldown on Crystal of Insanity?\r\rI'm not entirely sure that's a new change, mine has been that way since I got it a few weeks ago.\r\rNo comment on the cast speed reduction changes, I've never found myself using any of those abilities on players since I don't PVP. Nice to see Aura of Enfeeblement hasn't had its effects on non-players altered, though.
