Honestly, it takes longer to read this review of the event then to actually do it.
So, I noticed quite a few typos in the interview with Christie Golden. I don't know if they are just typos, or if they were purposely typed that by whomever. But, yeah, just wanted to let you know. I haven't done it yet, but I am REALLY looking forward to this scenario. I don't know if it will be able to match up to the book though. =P
Ugh....I hated the stupid hook up of Jaina and Kalec...because it ruins his character massively. All he does in Tides of War is fly around and talk, which after the stuff he did in the Sunwell Trilogy, the Sunwell, and Night of the Dragon is slap in the face. They need to get other writers working on the books again, as Tides of War is up there as one of the stinkers of the Warcraft book universe.I don't know if it will be able to match up to the book though. =PIt doesn't; by the time the scenario people show up, the major brunt of the battle is already over.
We'll take a look at the interview, WoW phrases have a way of confusing spellcheck.

I haven't done it yet, but I am REALLY looking forward to this scenario. I don't know if it will be able to match up to the book though. =PTrust me, it doesn't. I read Tides of War and loved every page of it, especially how it included shout-outs to the players. Christie Golden did a FANTASTIC job with Tides of War......and Blizz promptly threw her work out the window. There are specific instances where Golden mentions the players in her book. I don't know about the horde side, but the alliance side doesn't match at all. In the book, we're there, fighting alonside the combined forces of the alliance. We push the horde out of theramore, and manage to escape just before the bomb wipes out everything. In game, we don't get there until after the bomb drops, and are basically left to clean up the stragglers. Golden set them up perfectly and Blizz went and gone **** it up.
"She has 5 compansions, we keep them very vague as to what races they are or class, and these people are involved, they are a part."\r\rSomeone should have told her that Scenarios are 3-man encounters =p
Honestly, it takes longer to read this review of the event then to actually do it.\r\rI lol'd, hard.
Honestly, it takes longer to read this review of the event then to actually do it.Scenarios are short, which is refreshing. The queue time, though is long. I have been in the queue for 53 minutes. Fortunately, the first time I did it today, I did it in a group from my realm, so we got in pretty quick.I do have one complaint. I'm a hunter, so getting 90027 was like getting stabbed in the back. I'm assuming you get gear according to your class and spec now, so I should have either gotten 90022 or 90029.Edit: Argh, item links. Anyway, I got the pole arm, but should get the agility mail helm or gun.
Honestly, it takes longer to read this review of the event then to actually do it.\r\rI lol'd, hard.\r\rYeah, that post was more rewarding than the interview with a hack writer and the weak "event".
The best part is when you free the belf and he says "Or other plans?" I lol'd all over everywhere.
Are they moving Dalaran over Pandaria and I just missed the memo, lol? With Rhonin dead(RIP) and Jaina taking over, seeing him ruling a frozen-in-time Dalaran will be pretty weird. And his poor wife, she already Hated the Horde with a burning passion.
Are they moving Dalaran over Pandaria and I just missed the memo, lol? With Rhonin dead(RIP) and Jaina taking over, seeing him a frozen-in-time Dalaran around will be pretty weird. And his poor wife, she already Hated the Horde with a burning passion.\r\rNo, Dalaran is still going to be in the skies of Northrend.
Scenarios are short, which is refreshing.\r\rScenarios are short because they are so damn easy. There is a massive difference between being short because it's short and short because a blind chimp could faceroll through every enemy in seconds.
What the actual *!@#? No spoiler warning? My book is still in the mail, #$%^ you.
It seems implied that there's spoilers. That's why I just skimmed.
What the actual *!@#? No spoiler warning? My book is still in the mail, #$%^ you.\r\rThis post is pretty spoiler-heavy, so turn back now if you don't want to learn the outcome.\r
What the actual *!@#? No spoiler warning? My book is still in the mail, #$%^ you.\r\rActually there was a spoiler warning. If you couldn't find that then maybe you're not ready for the book.
What the actual *!@#? No spoiler warning? My book is still in the mail, #$%^ you.\r\rMeh, not that much of spoilage; the book isn't that good.
Oh snap! Messing with Thrall's lady friend isn't going to sit well with Go'el.
Oh snap! Messing with Thrall's lady friend isn't going to sit well with Go'el.\r\rYeah...sure; he shows up to calm Jaina down, she almost kills him, Kalec shows up, gives her a cooldown hug, then Thrall rides a Ghostwolf off as he goes back to the Maelstorm to keep working on fixing things.
