Hallow's End. Is the most complete fest in WoW in my opinion :)
My favorite is easily Hallow's End as well!I've always loved Halloween, and so was always drawn to Hallows End from the start. I would say my favorite partis the fights in the starting towns. They bring a sense of community to a game that really has none anymore, and I can always counton Hallow's End to provide a very nostalgic experience for me.I also LOVE the horsemans laugh. That should be reason enough >:).Jaxus
For all that I'm not interested in alcohol IRL, I think my favorite might well be Brewfest because I got my first (out of seven, I think) violet proto-drakes during it two years ago. Off an achievement that that was removed from the meta by the next year, no less. It's also the holiday that gave me a pygmy kodo on my Alliance main, even if I did have to bribe people to pass and farm Direbrew far too many times for sanity's sake. The poor kodo doesn't see much use anymore, but I still smile whenever I use it and cheer whenever someone else manages to win/loot one.
Hallows End is Probably my favorite because its my first WOW Holiday!
I'd have to say my favorite holiday Would be Noblegarden It reminds me of my childhood running around the backyard in search of sickeningly rich chocolates and you can't tell me turning into a rabbit that poops Easter eggs isn't awesome as well :3
WINTER'S VEIL ALL THE WAY Like wow, who could not love this great holiday event? Its just a fun and entertaining thing to do. I feel like I can smell the gingerbread cookies while playing the game and enjoying 'Hot cocoa' in game along with many other festive treats. It also just gives me a warm feeling inside as I open the present's from 'Great Father Winter' or whatever his name is...who cares, he gives you free stuff!
My favorite holiday is the Lunar festival. I love being able to set off fireworks, and buying the patterns with my tailors. I also like traveling and talking to the elders. The lore has always been amazing, and the Lunar festival adds a depth to the game that is not just about killing.
Children's week would have to be my favorite in game holiday. There's a few reason for this, and they span beyond bringing the game down to a more personal level as you REALLY help out someone weaker than you. It's like take your daughter to work day, only your job involves fighting dragons, going toe to toe with giants, having daredevil rides from danger on the backs of Griffons and other mounted beasts. Of course at the end of the day, they went back to the orphanage, while you spent way too much money on Haris Pilton's bags. I guess we didn't learn anything at all. Children's rights activists would have a heart attack =PThe other side of the coin is that my very first Children's week brought the most important raid member to my guild that we didn't know we were missing. Mr. Wiggles. Who determines victory when it comes down to the wire on Major Domo? Mr. Wiggles. Who's there laughing in the face of danger when your GM calls for more dots? Mr. Wiggles, like a boss. We never knew we needed him until he showed up for the first time, and we knew we could never again have the same boss fights without him. He was our guild mascot.
Hallow's End! Nothing beats costumes and candy
My fav holiday is winterveil. Christmas of 06 is when I met my now fiancee on the game so this is a holiday we share every year together and who doesn't love opening presents or making there favorite mount into the most famous reindeer of all?
This year's Hallow's End was awesome! It gave me a lot of new fun things to do like stink bombing UC. The feline familiar is a hoot. :)The Brewfest ram-racing has always been one of my favorites. This year was my first on the horde side. The Alliance "race track" is a lot more fun. I managed to run all 20 of my toons most days of the festival. Did a lot of leveling on them.
