My favorite holiday is the feast of winter veil. Everyone is in a cheerful mood and waiting to see what gifts we will find under the tree. Making cookies and milk for Santa while enjoying some eggnog and trying not to get buried in snowballs. Running around as one of Santa's little helpers while trying to save Metzen. Shyly giving someone a kiss under the mistletoe and handing out presents to friends and guildies. And at the end of this all, wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year. /hugs
I really like Winter Veil the most. Every year I write a wish to Great-Father Winter hoping to get lots of goodies (gold, mounts, etc. :P). I always get disappointed a bit for never getting them -.- But nothing beats the racing cars, zepplins' or whatever it may be, when you're waiting for a pull infront some huge-ass boss, which is almost always followed by someone crashing their toy into the boss' toe accidentally ninja-pulling :p "Shiii- RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!" *<name> has been demoted to Village Idiot.* that tends to be a common thing in our guild :P
For me is brewfest. You can pick up two mounts and it's very funny. :)
Winter Veil is great... On Mentzen! But who can resist loot drops for all of your alts? Brewfest takes the ale-flavored cake.
Wooooo! LOOT/roll
Hallow's End is the winner. It has the "run everywhere and try not to fall asleep while you grind for an achievement" component that most holidays have, along with a holiday boss to pewpew and hope for loot. Then theres some quasi-pvp with stinkbombs, and heroic quests, and lots of pets. Also, ninjas. Most variety, and things to do, and all that.
Brewfest! Drunken Ram Riding, fighting a boss when you are so hammered you can only see blurs, an achievement for being drunk and disorderly? What else could be better? Plus it has the gift that keeps on giving - Beer of the Month! Woot!
BrewfestSimple. The "Brew"If I was able to spank Nathan Stockton then maybe Children's Week. That kid needs one.As a self proclaimed beer aficionado I do appreciate the brew of the month club and "sampling" different brews and some of the side effects are great fun. Any holiday with an acheivment that requires you to get drunk and fall down without killing yourself has to be good.Pytheas Human Paladinor better signed as Ronlor Dwarf HunterThe Phantom Regiment Undermine
I can undoubtedly say that my favorite holiday is Winter's Veil. I love Christmas, and getting to celebrate in-game with my friends (especially those that are too far away to spend the real thing with) is great fun.I love waking up to see what wonderful gifts Santa has left for me (yes, I am 33, no I do not live with my parents ;)), and for years now I have had that satisfaction not once, but twice! I hurriedly rush to open my presents in Azeroth after doing so under the tree in my living room. I also enjoy the fun quests, the tasty edibles, and the many colors and decorations, but it really is the spirit of that particular holiday that puts a smile on my face. The fact that I get to have that experience in-game as well might seem silly to some, but for me it really is a great experience.Winter's Veil shall soon comeWith presents for adventurersHave you been good this year?
Got to be Hallow's End. Sweets, shapeshifting, flying brooms, bombing runs... so much better this year too!
Midsummer Fire Festival I love dancing with flames xD
