My favorite is Hallows End and Halloween. I always enjoy the spooky atmosphere that the game takes on, as well as the free candy and this years cool companion pet Creepy Crate, the coolest pet so far :).

My favourite holiday in WoW is Brewfest, because it was the first world event I encountered in WoW. I started playing in September 2007, a few days before Brewfest would start, and it confused me a great deal.Imagine a level 10-something Dwarf girl, logging in to continue questing where she had left off the day before, who's utterly bewildered that suddenly there's all these little stalls where there weren't any the day before. And German "hoompapa" music with Dwarves singing about how you should, eh, look at their bum? And mean scary darkskinned Dwarves ruining the whole event every now and then. And people... getting drunk? What? In a game? o.OAfter the initial amazement I set out to explore this part of the area that had suddenly appeared, still unsure what or how but curious as ever. Some weird guy I spoke told me that really, really drunk people would be able to see some mysterious Woopiewotsits hopping around, and he even gave me a net to catch one of them myself if I could find one. Euhm... if you say so, pal. *gets smashed* Oh wow, he was correct... there are weird antlered bunnies running all over the place! This is so weird. And hey, look, now I have one of my own as some sort of pet! That's so cool... *tosses orange/white kitty aside*Another mystery which the NPCs at the stalls confided in me, was how there were these big pink Elekks that hid themselves from all but the most drunken people. Still a bit skeptical, I quaffed several mugs of ale (hey, you're a Dwarf or you're a Dwarf) and zigzagged my way to the gates of Stormwind. During the trip I worried about the in-game version of a hangover, and how it would affect my character, and whether it would have any nasty permanent effects on the long term. I arrived at the gates; or rather, they arrived at me - I ran headfirst into them because I had just spotted one of those Elekks and was gawping at it over my shoulder. I snickered a bit at the Dumbo reference, and did what I was asked with some weird little zapping device.Back at the terrain with the little stalls, I met a vendor who tried to persuade me into buying one of his themed clothes. No thanks, I don't want to look like an idiot. I love our neighbours in Germany, but wearing their weird traditional garb is a bit too much. And no, I'm not braiding my pigtails either! Sheesh!Eventually I made my way to the exit of the terrain, because the male NPCs were becoming a bit annoying with their drunken banter. And slapping my hindside. And those stinking beer belches. I don't even like beer that much. Let alone drunk people. I don't like Rams either, they're ugly. And- .... oooooo, pretzels!
It's a tough choice, but I'm going to have to say Love is in the Air, especially after the revamp of the holiday. Sure, a lot of the achievements are driven by infurating RNG, but if you can get over that it's a fun little holiday that has everything. Adorable minipets? Check. A holiday boss with a chance at a hilarious mount? Check. An excuse to wander around Azeroth to each major city so you can tell your faction leader how much you love them? You bet!
My favorite holiday in World of Warcraft is Hallow's End, because it was on at the moment when I first came to official wow servers. I remember all the catchy phrases (which in Russian sound even greater), and visit all candy buckets every year, though I've done all achievements 2 years ago. It's a pity that Blizzard removed trick or treat option, it was fun :(
My favorite in game holiday is definately Hallow's End, Halloween has always been my favorite holiday IRL so I was naturally drawn to it anyway. It also reminds me of my girlfriend, we started dating right before Hallow's End last year and I remember going therough and aking one of each race for her to throw the pumpkin heads on. lol, It took us forever to get it all done, thankfully I had it done from the year before.
Hallow's End! There is nothing better than Holloween, the headless horseman is the best holiday boss yet!
It's hard to pick my favourite holiday in WoW, most of them are really fun, especially from an RP perspective. I think my favourite has got to be Love is in the Air, all the heart decorations and romantic picnic baskets in the capital cities. I know lots of couples that give each other gifts in game as well which is really sweet. I love the gas mask (wish I could transmog it!), and I cross my fingers every year for the Love Rocket. I'll get it some day!
I'd probably have to say the Midsummer Fire Festival for my favorite. It usually just ends up being a good time of the year for me around then. Not to mention, the event boss is in an instance that holds some pretty good memories for me, one that I ran countless times with guild mates before I got into raiding (some of which I'm still raiding with, years later now).
I think Children's Week is my favorite holiday, because I find it to be one of the most challenging achievements (and therefore one of the most rewarding ones) to get. In addition, the little nuggets of lore (taking your orphan to the Caverns of Time is mind-bendingly awesome) tucked around make it even more fun. I also like that, out of all the holidays, it has an interesting long-term achievement (Veteran Nanny) that you have to work for over several years, but isn't as completely random as things like the old A Mask for All Occasions was.
Personally, for me, my favorite WoW holiday has to have been Winter Veil. While it was a bit of a deadlock between that and Hallow's end, the mere excitement that is attained from logging into WoW on Christmas morning and getting this year's present is unmatchable. Running to the tree is quite reminiscent of the days when I was a child and would run to our family's tree, ready to see the presentation of gifts that lay before me and a nostalgic feeling sets in. The fact that even an inkling of that feeling returns to me - and due to gift-wrapped pixels at that, is just a testament to the holiday's awesomeness. While the wands and pumpkin heads of hallow's eve are great fun in their own right, seeing everyone unwrap their gifts Christmas morning and use their new present like little kids, no matter their age, is just a magical moment that no other WoW holiday event can produce.
Hallow's End/Halloween because its always nice and friendly to see people in ridicolously stupid looking masks in real life and in the World of Warcraft. Hearing that evil laugh while in Durotar is also alot cooler than just sitting around watching lots and lots of duels. Seeing the Headless Horseman fly around also greatly reminds me of the film Sleepy Hollow based upon the actual Headless Horseman who goes around decapitating people. While the Headless Horseman's fight may be easy enough, his voice is absolutely stunning and I always love to hear him and that "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" It just adds to the suspense and also the fact that the festival is simply just a time of laughter, not everything in the world is full of death and war!
My favorite holiday is definitely Hallow's End, though not necessarily for the reason you would think. I started playing this game in September a couple years ago so one of the first things I experienced was Hallow's End. I participated in all the trick-or-treating and the quests and such, but the greatest moment was when I received a letter in the mail from one of the orphans thanking me for saving the town of Goldshire (I was Alliance at the time). I know its just a series of pixels and all, but I was actually rather touched to be told that they wanted to be a hero like me. In fact, I still have that letter in my bank and It will definitely be going in my void storage as a permanent keep-sake of adventures past. Not to mention, as I am now a forsaken, clinging to a relic of my past RP's very well (not that I do that >.> <.< >.>).
