My favourite festival would be the Lunar Festival. Mainly because it was the first festival I had encountered on World of Warcraft, and I had no idea what was going on! I remember the good old times of organizing a raid with some fellow low level friends, and trying to down Omen by ourselves. It was doomed with failure, but it was always the best fun ever, and I always thought that we could beat him!
I enjoy Midsummer Fire Festival the most because I feel like this Holiday has something of everything.- You get to travel all over Azeroth to light your faction's bonfires and extinguish the enemy's, much like collecting candy buckets on Halloween.- You have to visit not one but four enemy capitals to steal the enemy faction's flame, which usually leads to a lot of fun World PvP - I've seen people camp by the large bonfires just to engage enemy players trying to get the flame and PvP battles suddenly break out in the middle of the streets!- Like other holidays, there's a nice quest chain where you go undercover to help the Earthern Ring find out what the Twilight's Hammer is up to and discover the plot to summon Ahune the Lord of Frost and create an all out elemental war between fire and water elementals (much more intimidating than say... some headless guy running around setting a village on fire). ;-)- Probably the best seasonal boss, although much easier than he used to be Ahune never feels like a walk in the park like the way the Headless Horseman or Coren Direbrew just seems to roll over these days. The add phase is fun and slightly chaotic to handle and the burn phase is a great chance for DPS to burn their cooldowns.- Some of the most unique daily quests like the whack-a-mole mini-game (alternative title: raid healing) and the odd yet surprisingly entertaining More Torch Catching mini-game, juggling torches to earn tokens to buy a mini-pet and one of the coolest vanity items - the sexy dancing fire Draenei. :-)- Another fashionable seasonal armor set, before the addition of heirlooms I remember how many players used to farm the Mantle of the Fire Festival for their bank alt or the amazing and unique Crown of the Fire Festival. On top of that, the Midsummer Fire Festival usually comes with every kid's favorite holiday - the 5-8 long week Summer holiday that all us oldies can only reminiscence with envy. ;-)
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?---------------------------------------------------------------------------------That's a tough question because I love all these kind of events in Wow, the achievements process, the change in the cities, ect.But If I really had to make a choice, I'll say the Brewfest event. Why ? Because I've met someone during this event who is a really good friend now. I'm Anirampox, a druid tauren (nobody really likes what I am and treat me like a dumb cow :(), I was drinking and dancing in my flashy clothes ( don carlos hat and a really colorful shirt) from the nearest beer casket. And then that's when I've met her, all skinny Blood Elf, she was in the same guild as me but I've never met her before. She asked if someone could help her because she was new to this kind of fest. We directly connected (I wasn't a dumb cow in her eyes) and I showed her the basics, throwing the mug at the bot, using the ram to refill the beer, and of course defend our precious liquid from the iron dwarf. There is no iron dwarf born yet that's gonna steal MY mug ;-DFrom this day, we tried to participate in the events together. This really has improved the fun during the events :-)

I like Winter Veil the most because the lights strung everywhere are so nice and colorful. I enjoy picking up presents under Grandfather Winter's tree in Ironforge, too. As a bonus, during this season -more than any other- most of the other players are in a fun, festive mood, which makes for a great playing experience.
My favourite holiday is Brewfest nothing like a Pack of Dwarfs getting drunk and acting crazyPlus the song is funny as heck
I will have to say its Hallows End. The story behind the Headless Horseman is one of the most tragic to come out of the Scarlet Crusade. Considering how much I love the lore in this game, this one definetly took my interest.
Hallow's End, because i like the headless horseman.
Definitely Harvest festival. Nothing was more epic than several guildies and myself seeing exactly how big we could make the word feast with bountiful feasts. Our best was done in crystalsong forest and was clearly visible from Dalaran. We went through thousands of feasts perfecting this.
I would say Winters Veil just because of the fun it gives you like thrrowing snow balls outfits, hats and different mounts like it's the biggest holiday in WoW a person can get without a question i say =] When two sides are more friendly than ever in a year and funny dailies. Layouts of maps and overall fun and excitment when it comes back to you with prizes wrapings and all of the joy
The Midsummer fire festival because Frostscythe of Lord Ahune is THE most badass looking weapon in the game
brewfest of course! i'd like to try to get the "drunken stupor" achievement in real life, but friends of mine says it's not a good idea...mah...
Personally my favorite is Hallow's End not just because of candy >.> duh who doesn't like candy but because we can dress up in costumes with ease and have fun hell one july day i went to disney world dressed up as a pirate for no reason cause i like costumes so much.... it was weird being asked by kids for autographs though... who was i supposed to have been LOL
My favorite holiday is Hallow's End probably due to the atmosphere and free mount yay!
Midsummer Fire Festival. EXP boost, trickling opposing faction and encouragement of fun world travel.
I know it probably doesn't qualify as a Holiday, but...DARKMOON FAIRE!There's always been something about the Faire that appeals to some sticky little part of me. The sideshows, the treats, the ultimately useless tickets that you NEVER seem to have enough of, the creepy carnie kid trying to sell you frogs... Darkmoon Faire, hells yeah! Can't tell you how excited I was to hear about the Darkmoon Redux for 4.3! Maybe L70ETC will play at the grand reopening... or better yet, maybe they know a bluegrass jug band!
