Hallow's End is my favorite holiday in World of Warcraft. Born: October 31, 1991!
My favorite is Midsummer...picking off Hordies in Ironforge is great fun.
I'd say Brewfest....... why? well....This one time at Brewfest camp we umm... uhm we, we.... aah i can't remember, to cloudy... i just remember lots of fellas drinking, singing, something strange was dancing on the table.. >.<.Only here you can get into the elite club of exquisite beer lovers, The famous "Brew of the Month" Club. and of course the outstanding brew defending mount Great Brewfest Kodo :D :DFew more words this event has everything that i love beer, racing and gaming, a true dream come true :)
Hallow's End is a fantastic holiday for having great decor and awesome pets. Love my new Creepy Crate. :)But for me, Brewfest is the best holiday in game. You get to drink, pelt tankards at dwarves, drink, race rams, drink, eat prezels and sausages, drink, pelt tankards at dwarves, drink and drink. Oh, and you get to drink lots as well! My only gripe with brewfest as it breaks my hardware, as my computer can't render anything in focus for 2 whole weeks... hic!
My favorite Azerothian holiday ... tough choice, but I'll go with Midsummer Fire Festival.I first experienced it a few years back, like early to mid Burning Crusade. I was a bit naive at the time, diving into the WoW Lore, feeling like I was really having an adventure, and no endgame mentality changing my view of how I play. My friends and I would play around and compete at the major city events. Torch catching was frustrating at first. Sadly I wasn't 70 yet and couldn't fight Ahune at the time. Running around Azeroth, dousing / honoring fires was the best part. I challenged myself to douse every enemy fire without getting noticed or attacked by players (was into Metal Gear at the time.) I only had my hunter at the time so I couldn't do things rogue style but I made due with my Aspects and my Alchemy potions, and most of the time it was no problem, however Darkshire actually proved to be the most difficult to my objective. There were a few level 70s hanging out at the fire. I was around half way to 70 at the time so any reckless move would just end up foiling my attempt at my objective. So I "hid" (big tauren sitting down) in the nearby bushes and waited like a good hunter. Probably the closest I've felt to actually playing AS a hunter other then the Petrified Leaf quest chain. Anyway. It took awhile but the 70s finally left, I think they went after another Horde member that ran in, can't remember exactly. Later on I actually completed my objective while only being attacked by a few guards over all.It was a lot of fun with the self-imposed challenge, and the inherent difficulties of the time (no flying in Azeroth, could easily be one-shotted, no true stealth.) I have treated other holidays that have similar mechanics in the same fashion, but Midsummer Fire Festival was where it all started for me and where I had the most fun (last year's Pilgrim's bounty came close though, I can't believe hiding behind a tree I was bigger then actually worked.)Happy holidays!
Brewfest for me! Even had my Figureprint done in full Brewfest Garb, rocking my Dark Iron Tankard and Yellow Brewfest Stein.
My favourite holiday has to be Hallow's End. First of all because it is (at least in parts) a celebration of the Forsaken being freed from the Scourge. Most of my toons are Forsaken, and we're not the most loved faction ever, let's face it, so it's nice to see everyone join in as we get to see Lady Sylvanas herself making an hourly (i think) appearance and giving a speech (and a nice buff).Secondly, and especially this year, there's an abundance of buffs, toys, pets, candies and mounts, plus funny decorations everywhere, not to mention achievements, what more could you want from a holiday event really?
After much back and forth debat and arguing in my head between Hallow's End, Winter Veil and Noblegardenm Noblegarden won out as my favorite holiday. Might have something to do with the bunnys.I really do enjoy it with the inding of the eggs, hiding eggs, the outfits all of it. Plus the cuteness of it all. Sure there is no boss to fight with fancy epics to win and only 1 pet, but there is still a spirit of competition when searching for th eggs. Brings me back to being a little kid and having Easter egg hunts with my family. The outfits are great too!
Wow, no love for Noblegarden. It's my favorite! It's the first holiday in spring, and I love spring. You get to:*Run around and collect eggs*Eat a bunch of chocolate*Wear pretty dresses*Give people bunny ears*Make rabbits fall in love*And you get to be a rabbitHow is this not awesome? It is the perfect spring holiday :)
Have to say Children's Week is my favorite.Has the best (in my opinion) pets in the gameand the funnest achievement set of the holiday events
Hallow's End by far is my favorite holiday. There is just something about the season that is just fun for me in general and lets be honest everything looks much cooler. The reason this holiday is really special for me is because i started my trial during hallow's end and hallow's end was so much fun for me that it is actually the reason i decided to by the full game in the first place and i hope hallow's end just keeps getting better and better!
I'd have to go with the lunar festival. I love the fireworks, lanterns and dresses. Also its a nice little holiday in the middle of winter when things are rather bleak. Traveling all over the world is nice too-Great exp :)
Clearly Brewfest! What's better than a Holiday dedicated to everybody's favorite pastime? Yes, that pastime is drinking. And it gives the gift that keeps on giving as well, no, not the stench left in your best friends favorite cape after you throw up on it, or the sour taste in your mouth after drinking that stupid ogre's "beer", I'm talking about the Brew of the Month Club, the one way to ensure Brewfest never ends! And come on, who doesn't like getting achievements for getting plain smashed?
I love Hallows End and Halloween in real life. I'm not a big Christmas fan so this is a neat way to end the year for me.I remember the first time the Headless Horseman came and dropped his mount. I ran soo many times, on my alts, my boyfriends alts, friends alts, literally as many summons as I could get. Then on the last day of the event on the last summon it dropped. I was so happy and still am proud of my mount.Hallows end, for me, offers a lot. There are the candy buckets located all over the world to visit and see what treats you can get in your bag, it gets you going to places you'd long since forgotten or maybe not seen since Cata came. And just like real life, if you eat to many sweets... your ill :P The apple bobbing is cute as well and you can always fix your rotten teeth with the good ol' toothpick! ^__^ I love the decorations that go up in the cities. The cool pumpkins and hanging skeletons, some statues have witches hats on as well. You see bats flying round cities, it all builds up a great atmosphere.I love the wands and the candy that turns you into different things. It’s cool to play as a Gnome pirate or to annoy another guild/raid member by turning them into a wisp as your about to pull. The masks this year are fun as well because they don’t take up your hat space \o/I love the kooky, quirky feeling to it all. The Horseman's invasions to the smaller towns, which when I played on an RP server was just THE best fun, the sheer panic and scrambling to get buckets, the new pets for this year who wears a lil hat and follows you on a broom and the weird creepy crate who eats critters. The Jack-O-Lantern hat will always be a fave and the pumpkin pet. It’s fun and it’s something you can do with friends, which is just another added bonus to my fave event of the year!
I really enjoy Midsummer. Not only is there a daily dungeon, it's jam packed with lots of stuff to do - getting the outfit, juggling torches, pole dancing for increased xp and last but not least traveling all over to desecrate the opposition's flames and honoring yours. The only thing this holiday is missing is throwing fire at specific class/race combos. What's not to love?

I'm going to be a rebel here. I'm going to say Noblegarden. -collective gasp-Because nothing beats sneaking up on people in PVP zones and then springing bunny ears on the biggest, baddest looking max level toons with the scariest helmets... and then watching then squirm as their scary helm disappears and they're a bunny. =]I actually got chased halfway around Stranglethorn when I did it the first time to an arena master dwarf warrior. It was well worth the gank when they discovered me and hunted me down.
Winter Veil. Winter is the cosiest time of the year, spending time with family and so on. What can possibly be better then to keep that feeling in your hart as you travel through Azeroth (or Outlands) with your friends. Never mind having a snowball fight in Tanaris ;)
I've always been fascinated with in-game holidays. I first started playing back when Wrath came out. When I first opened up my trial account, I walked into Stormwind and saw a truly amazing number of holiday decorations for Love is in the Air. I didn't learn its name for another year, but that was how my fascination with in-game holidays began. Later on that year, I bought the full version of the game and started playing in May. I made a couple characters but finally settled on my mage, who is my main to this day. I remember walking around Hillsbrad Foothills one day and I noticed a big bonfire with an quest marker on top of it outside of Tarren Mill. I decided to do the quest and the quests around it, and I loved every minute of it. I remember trying to outfox the level 40 guards in Southshore so I could successfully put out the Alliance fire there. I remember working forever on nailing the damn torch tossing contest until I got it just right. I even remember getting That Takes Class after I helped to kill an Alliance DK on my level 32 mage. I remember feeling so sad when the Midsummer Fire Festival was over, but I did get to enjoy the fireworks show at the end of festival. I wasn't able to get most of the achievements that year (hell, I don't think I got a single one that year), but I had so much fun that I couldn't wait to do it again next year. I loved the Midsummer Fire Festival so much that it was the first meta-achievement I completed out of all of the world events.I still douse the flames of the Alliance on my toons and I love killing Ahune every year; it just reminds me so much of when I first picked up this game and started loving it.
My favorite holiday has to be Hallows End, just because it was the first holiday to be achievementized and i managed to get the Sinister Squashling as a level 54 (before they were handed out on every street corner, that really started me on my pet collecting adventure. The next year was my horseman mount year, and I like the events that go along with it.
