My favorite WoW moment was when my guild beat the Lich King, because it was the first "end boss" I'd ever beaten.
Mine would have to be getting the For the Alliance achievement. I remember seeing everyone looking for groups and not knowing what it was. I ended up looking it up, and was excited with what i saw. So for months I kept joining every group that was forming for it. Nevertheless, none of the groups could down Thrall. Finally I joined a guild and who would have thought, they were forming to do the run. About two hours later I got the mail with the mount and the satisfaction of my first real achievement that I had to work for.
When I first entered the raid instance of Zul'Aman. That was way back when I had only been playing for a few months. Walking in there for the first time with the epic background music, it was so thrilling./nostalgia

I've had so many good memories in WoW with my guild over the past five years or so, but I think the best would have to be, despite all the boss kills, the time a group of us finished the tier .5 quest chain. Doing the 45 minute baron run, and all the other quests in the chain were just a blast to do, and I miss having anything like that in the game at the moment.
My best wow memory has to be when i joined my first real raiding guild back in wotlk. it was an awesome experience because of the help that i got and just the mood of my guildies when we downed bosses in Ulduar and even with my high pitch 13 year old voice they let me celebrate with them in vent and to exprience true guild frriendship that was my best memory. :D
My guild's second raid group was working on their first Lich King kill. The pressure is on -- it's a few hours before the big pre-Cataclysm patch (4.0.1) is set to arrive, taking down the server, changing everything up, and clearing the raid lockout. These guys had been working on LK for a month. A couple of people had to go due to time constraints, so they me called in to tank. We're in the beginning of phase 1 and all of a sudden our hunter starts cursing in vent. At first I thought he'd died, but when I checked my raid frames I saw that he was still alive. He then explains that he's run out of ammo and is useless for the rest of the fight. In an epic clutch moment, our rogue uses his engineering to craft some ammo and trades it over to the hunter. He's back in business and we go on to down the Lich King in that attempt. There was much jubilation and rejoicing!
I think my Favorite moment would have to be just right after black temple opened up. My friend and I were by no means hardcore raiders and he was itching to see inside the place. He logged on his Pally and I my Hunter and we grouped up and turned it over to raid and ran in to see the place for ourselves. It was beautiful. I could almost hear the awe in my friend's voice over vent as we got as close as we dared. My Pally friend, talking to himself, posed an odd question. "I wonder how hard the first group hits." At this point i proceeded to misdirect the first pull onto him, feign death, and laugh myself hoarse at all the profanity spewing from my headset.
I used to watch my son play wow he was there at the launch. I used to tell him how silly it looked, he made me try it and dog gone got me hooked. I have been playing since before BC and my whole family plays, 12 of us now. I remember killing Stitches and even Hogger and thinking OMG it doesn't get any better then this! Such a newb I was.
Killing professor one day before he was nerfed.
My favourite memory is simply the first time i played WoW. I got sucked in with it all and it actually made me fell as if i was in the game.
My favorite moment in WOW was when i got my first flying mount. I loved the ability to kill the last mob of the quest and hop on my mount and fly past all his buddies thumbing my nose at em lol.
