i can only think of 2 words that sum up this cinematic.... TOTALLY AWSOME!
Based on some comments here (and many more in other places), I just wanted to add a little something to the conversation. Many people comment that this video "isn't as good as WotLK" because Arthas has such a history in WoW and nothing is really known about Neltharion (Deathwing) to warrant a whole video just on him. True, there is much more in the books on the big man Deathwing than in the game, but there are many links still in game. In fact, many of these links have been there since "the good old days."First you have Onyxia and Nefarian, his two most famous children. Many have turned their heads in for spoils of raiding, but they pale in comparison to their father. Then there are his other children and even his consort who are seen in WoW also. Sintharia, his prime consort (well, last surviving consort seeing as when he went mad he had his way with all the others to their death) is seen in Shadowmoon Valley. Another son, Sabellian, is of help to you for his own revenge in Blade's Edge Mountains. Then his last two known sons, Barthamus of Lower City and Neltharaku the patriarch of Netherwing Dragonflight, are also seen and interacted with.I would actually argue that while Arthas' story is interesting and tragic, the story of Neltharion is the very basis for where much of what we currently know as Azeroth. Arthas' tale is more a footnote when compared to the extensive history and lore that goes along with the Dragonflight, particularly Deathwing. Not to mention the Old Gods, the Titans, Krasus, Malfurion, Illidan, Queen Azshara, Sargeras, Rhonin, Ner'zhul, King Terenas, and Medivh to name a few have all interacted with/had to deal with/fought Deathwing in the past. He's much more a part of Azeroth than people give him credit sometimes.
Epic Video. But Blizz... Why SW huh? Couldnt he go face pwn Org? No one likes them! :PBut seriously, this makes me wonder or at least hope, if theres some "secret" pre-cata event when he breaks through, have to fend him off SW or something, maybe both Alliance and Horde, or have the same thing at Org. Instend of, Decemeber 7th instal a patch/the expansion and O-M-G the worlds instantly broken... when the heck did that happen realistically wouldnt we... you know... be there? But I think actually being able to participate in the actual destruction itself would be pretty awsome. Or at least witness it. Not just fending off citys from elemental attacks.
Is it possible to have goosebumps like that in 2 minutes and a half! o.O
Where will you beWhen 2012beginsA: playing Wow
Mmm.. C'thun was Weakened, Yogg-Saron was Weakened, I wish we could just have an Old God that is, as Illidan calls it, "Prepared." I mean, the Faceless One they find in Darkshore will be deemed Weakened, for having the sword stuck in his head for so long, and only recently being able to recover, but can't there be something that is ready for a nice long, hard, juicy fight!
