I tend to go for the ranged class. More specific the hunter/archer class. Always good fun.
I love classes that combine both magic and melee damage (i.e. Spellblades). I also love having pets/minions, which is why I absolutley love the Death Knight class in WoW (lots of love ^_^). There is so much versatily in the attacks, utilizing powerful cooldowns, plus they get a powerful pet to do there bidding! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I try and play all classes, but dark casters and rogue types are probably my favorites:) You could say rogues are dark too, maybe that's my thing!
I normaly play a stealth / archer character. And if I pick a warrior I like to go dual weapon if possible.
Hey there, I'm RedIce and usually I go for the Ranger/Hunter/Warrior type, with good ranged attacks and decent survivability.
It has to be sword and board. Patience is something I have when playing RPGs, and it's usually the safest way to go when attacking something head on!
I usually play warrior or rogue classes.
Caster mostly. The glass-cannon concept has always been of interest to me for some reason. I just love standing back and using the elements to rain death and destruction down on my enemies.
In single-player RPGs, I usually play a ranged DPS class if I can, like a ranger or an à la Dragon Age rogue. In MMORPGs, however, my main character always has to be a healer of some sort, preferably one of the classic sort (like priests, clerics etc.).That said, thank you for this contest, Wowhead! And good luck to all. ^__^
I usually play as a ranged magical damage dealer, mostly because healing feels a bit weak for me and I don't like being all up in my enemies faces. I'd much rather just blast their minds from far away where they can't lay a finger on me. So I guess warlocks, mages, necromancers, witch doctors, that kind of stuff.
I tend to have the following requirements for picking my character classes in RPGs: Uses mana or magic or MP.--> WoW Example: Paladin, Shaman, Druid, Priest, Mage, Warlock. Can be self-sufficient, i.e., self heals or self sustained in some manner.--> WoW Example: Paladin, Shaman, Druid, Priest, Warlock. Can fulfill multiple roles, if I decide to switch it up, instead of pure DPS.--> WoW Example: Paladin, Shaman, Druid, Priest. I like to tank. So being able to sword and shield something is good times.--> WoW Example: Paladin, Druid. I play a Paladin because Druids only use Mana for Balance and Restoration -- not for Feral.Just as an idea.--> In Dragon Age: Origins, I initially made a Warrior, so I could tank ; play with sword and shield.--> In Demon's Souls / Dark Souls, I immediately started a Knight, so I could use a sword and shield.--> I play defensively / cater to defensive abilities / sustains / etc. I guess the bottom line is, I usually play a tank style class in RPGs.~ I even play "TANKS" in League of Legends? ~
Awesome! I'm usually a healer or support role type. When not a healer, it's usually a tank.
I love sparkly stuff, so usually a wizard! :D
I always go for the mage type. Second would be the archer / sneaking type. I get bored with warriors because I feel there's no positional strategy involved with them.
For the longest time, the versatility and impressive, off the wall abilities of wizards have captured my imagination. Overall, they can offer solutions to nearly anything a game master can throw at a party.Recently (since wow was released) I've fallen in love with tanks, specifically death knights. What a blast to play, so many tricks up their sleeves to stay alive, maintain the attention of the enemy and deliver respectable damage with style. The class that tugs my heartstrings though, is the paladin. Nothing quite ignites righteous wrath like these characters. My all time favorite character was designed to hunt demons as an Assamite with True Faith (Old Catholic). Very fun to play, I should min/max one for old times' sake.
I usually play the mage type or the warrior type classes in RPG games!
I like to play stealth classes the most. It;s fun to sneak around and stab baddies in the backs!
