Brewfest!Simply because I love beer and is nite to throw barrels around while you are drunk and you are riding a ram.
My favorite holiday in WoW is the Midsummer Fire Festival. I have been playing WoW for almost 5 years and I always look forward to dousing the flames all across the world and also having a chance to kill Ahune and get a sweet tabard. For some reason, I always associate the holiday with my favorite real-life time of year and that's summer. The smell of freshly cut grass, the picnics, barbeques and pool parties. When I play during the Midsummer Fire Festival, it just kind of takes me back to a great time in my life where I enjoyed the long hot days of summer and spending time with my family.
Beerfest, of course.
Hallow's End for sure. The idea that people are constantly shouting for zaps (typically free) puts everyone in a good mood. Add to that the instance and the quests and it's awesome.
Brewfest.I don't know why this is my favourite event. It was the first WoW event I took part in back in the days. I had no idea what it was all about but for some reason I just liked it ;)
Love Is In the Air ~ Simply because my Birthday is Valentines Day and yes I still get excited about my birthday. Having hearts and kisses around the game with guildies and goodtimes is a great reason to love that event. Gets me pumped for my birthday for an entire week before my birthday. Now, how about some presents ? /giggle
Winter veil, cos im from finland so Santa Claus is from here and i love presents :) And its my favourite holiday in real life.
Hallow's End has always been a favorite of mine for a long time in WoW. Brewfest is a close second tie with Winter's Veil.
Personally, I prefer Children's Week. There's something about taking a young orcling or blood elf around the world and showing them where we've been. My favorite part of the Warcraft Universe is the immersion it allows and the sense of continuity it fosters. Children's Week feels like an opportunity to be a lasting part of that continuity. It also serves as a yearly opportunity for me to visit forgotten zones and NPCs and relive the memories of years past. And of course, there's the vanity pets. Each Children's Week pet feels more developed and unique than most of the other pets. Including Speedy, my favorite vanity pet and 5-man group mascot.
Children's Week. Dragging the orphans around to all of the different places & buying them things. It's fun. And, there's a lot of vanity pets to be had, lol
Definitely Winter Veil, just overall great atmosphere.
My favorite Holiday would hands down have to be Brewfest. It is the one time I can sit in org and watch all these flying mounts try to fly straight and completely smash into things.
My favorite holiday, Winters Veil. It is quite exciting to wait as suspicion grows with "What is this years item?" The Gnome transformers, PvP, everything about Winters Veil is great
Brewfest :) Not only do I like hanging with the local 'yet drunken' dwarfs but also because it was the start and the end time for finishing What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been =) And a plus: it gave me the coolest mount for a draenei: Great Brewfest Kodo !
Mine would have to be Hallows EndNot only is it a fun holiday outside of WoW where u dress up to have fun and enjoy yourself, or to scare and play tricks on friends and family, its for everyone and a day where u can bring out your inner Halloween monster. In WoW, its the month where i normally break out my different sets of gear to and ride around on my broom into the night throwing pumpkin at everyone! Over all its a really fun holiday in and outside wow, i always enjoy myself! :)
Hallow's End for me too! And because i love Halloween and i started playing just a week before it started so i got amazed at how the holiday was managed within game.Close second is Brewfest but just because i love my dwarf and their lore. ^_^
Mine has to be Halloween. I like getting turned into random critters when I trick-or treat.
