My perfect holiday in wow? That would be Children's week. Why? Because escorting little kiddos around the world is simply cute and entertaining:)
Hats and tricks are on their wayApples, sweets and masks everydayListen to his call, go and kill his flamesLove it or hate it, they're just gamesOn and off his body, his head has some willWhen you want to end this it's his head you must killSo wait no more and let the heroes their quest fulfillEvery year when October comes it is yours to defendNever shall you surrender your world to this fiendDoomed is the Headless Horseman of Hallow's End
Definitely going to have to go with Brewfest, nothing better than getting drunk and earning achievements for it, and the fact that the first time I went to Germany it was during brewfest so it brings back good memories =)
I'll have to go with Winter Veil because even the Trade Chat trolls seem to be in a good mood. It was the first in-game holiday I ran into and still kinda special to me.
Definitly Winterveil, because it's the merriest of them all.
Winter Veil :D, i just love the warm feeling of christmas and everyone is just more friendly and kind when its winter veil :D
Hallow's End is mine coz i get to stink bomb the all Alliance and wear fun mask and get a shot at one of the koolest mounts ever that being the Headless Horseman's Mount its just very fun and dark and just a little evil who knows maybe i enjoy it so much coz i'm a Warlock that and you get lots and lots of candy.
My favorite and the Holiday I look forward to the most in WoW is Hallow's end :) Unfortunately it seems like October is always when money gets tight for me and I've missed Hallow's end for the past two years :( but I finally made it this year WHOOT! HAHA renewed my account the day Hallow's End started :D
I'm a big fan of any holiday with a holiday boss. I think hallow's end wins for the sheer amount of good dailies, but midsummer fest is a close second.I love holidays where you also go around to various sites and get xp/gold for checking in, be it fires or candy. brewfest doesn't have much world travel despite the holiday boss, and valentines day isn't very compelling.
As I think of them all, something evil comes to mind. Possibly the most evil yet hilarious fun to be had in any festival - Egg stalking in Bunny form during Noblegarden! After years of hard work, I have perfected a spot in Goldshire which allows me to stalk up to 10+ eggs at once. Innocently I wait..... watching.... twitching my nose sniffing for the scent of those magical eggs to come wafting over.... then..... DASH! My lap complete and my success measured by the shouts of dispair from those alt-tabbed from boredom! Muahahahaa!
Winter Veil. I love snow and the brightness it brings with it :)
My favorite holiday is the Midsummer Fire festival. It was the first holiday after I started playing, and I love running around to all of the different fires. It allows me the time to visit far off places and see the beautiful scenery of WoW. The fun of desecrating the enemy fires is also a hoot. Good scenery, great XP for levelling, and destroying the Frost Lord in an epic encounter! a win win win.
My favorite WoW holiday has to be the first Winter Veil. As any classic WoW player will remember, snowballs knocked your target down back then. My raid group stocked up on as many as we could, making alt characters just for snowballs. We would pass them out during Molten Core and have fun mid-boss fight knocking each other down. Eventually the raid leader banned us from doing it after we all kept the main tank stunned on Garr. The best experience from this had to be when I ran up and knocked down the hunter we had pull Baron Gedon into Garr's room. Baron easily caught up to him and killed him in one swipe, leaving the rest of us to enjoy the hunter's misfortune.
