Very cool just wish that death was a Spirit Healer like the original but creative licensing.
To me drawing the cosmology as a two-dimensional image feels inherently limited. I think it would be better to view it as a three-dimensional, cubic structure, where each of the 6 major forces sits opposite its counterpart, and neighbouring the 4 others, unbothered by an implicit top or bottom. As the two-dimensional rendering by its nature has a top and a bottom, not putting the seemingly obvious 'good' parts of each pair at the top hints that good and evil might not be so clear-cut in this universe. And indeed they are not - while the Light and Life have generally been on our side, we've seen both drop their disguise at times, indicating that there are definitely things that are more important to them than the continued existence of the status quo which allows the Horde, the Alliance, and other forces on Azeroth and beyond it to thrive.
That shoudl be made into a puzzle, would be amazing to put together and to have on the wall. Amazing art for sure and hope to see it for sale and or puzzled!
This ... is ... absolutly ... BRILLIANT! Ilove it!
Maybe it's just me, but I have no idea what this article just said LOL. That kind of talk is beyond me.
This is beautiful
Massive lore-nerd rage will saturate this thread.
Love this kind of content!
with this chart, am I reading this correctly that there is a decay elemental?
so each element also seems to have its own plane. we've seen at least glimpses of most of these. firelands, the throne of the four winds in uldum, deepholm, throne of the tides, the emerald dream, and now the shadowlands.i wonder if we ever get to see the spirit planes or the planes of decay, it'd be interesting to see what they'd look like, especially the planes of decay.
So unexpected that this blew up like this! Still not really sure where to go from here! Not really sure if self promoting is welcomed here, please remove it and accept my apology if so. I admire the time and effort that went into this! As a designer there are some alignment and symmetry issues with this composition that I can't get over (particularly the placement of the title cards). Kudos anyways, it's a cool representation. Would love to see a second iteration.
Wow! (no pun intended)
