Idk, kinda makes sense tbh. They made a new basis for fresh classic that will have its own phases and big updates (hopefully), so it's 1.14 instead of 1.13.x, kinda similar to what they did to classic.

Finally. 🎮🎮 Now to wait for updated ConsolePort including Steam Deck and native controller support. Guess I'll be sort of playing WoW Classic on mobile

For Classic to even be remotely playable the following changes would be mandatory; - Remove World Buffs - Remove Flasks from Alchemy- Make dungeons viable content in the long term- Make raids hard and gated- Get rid of any boosting- Add PvP Content (Arena or Rated BGs)But oh wait... isnt that TBC? .....

Totally agree, I still have friends from vanilla, and I made a lot of new one during classic . I stop tbc , like I did 15 years ago … need a fresh one
I'll just echo what other people have said in this thread. They need to fix a few key things and this could be an amazing experience. - World buffs disabled in raids- XP DRs if a high level character tags the same mobs- Have BL be a random drop from herbs in max level zonesOther than that it would be cool to possibly see phases extended and hard modes added to dungeons and raids for a small stat boost on those gear pieces. I think that would greatly add to the longevity of Classic and add a new fresh experience without greatly altering the game.
Boosting needs to be removed entirely, is it hard to write piece of code with condition if theres guy significantly over level of instance then noone gets experience or lower it significantly more? I just dont understand who is in charge of classic section and makes these decision, looks like those people never played the game for significant ammount, give classic to someone who actualy understand player base, like ever ^&*!ing other game is doing, maximazing profits over quality of game and its social aspects is so %^&*ing bad in long term, thats what is happening now with tbc. Look at the all guilds quiting the game, no social integrity which was even harder to maintain with 25man and 10man raids. 40 man raids were in classic so fun because people enjoyed hanging out with 39 other mongrels (my example) , HC guilds like it more because coordinating 40 people together for best result was so damn satysfying when everything went by the plan. In TBC we get antisocial mechanics when boosters are running rampant with bots floding every damn server, blizzard just pull your ^&*!ing head out of your ass and start doing something, for love of god i beg you.
