SO happy for you Wowhead folks, you absolutely deserve it! Gunna' go see it myself on the 10th. CAN'T WAIT!As for a question - to everyone: what was your favourite thing about making this awesome film?
If there is a sequel in the works, can we expect elves and trolls?
Ben Schnetzer - In portraying Khadgar, one very iconic spellcaster, was it difficult for you to make the spellcasting seem like it came natural to you?Ben Foster - You've had some pretty serious roles before, what made you say yes to Warcraft ?Everyone - Were you worried in disappointing long-time fans of the franchise? Travis Fimmel - Was it by accident or were you asked to use an accent as Lothar? Also, the film was awesome and I want to watch it again. I'm so sad that 40 minutes were cut from the final product and I can't wait to see more Behind the Scenes.
Question for Legion. I've been hated for this question, but there aren't exactly a ton of Warglaives in terms of transmogs or artifact appearances. I wanted to ask if Quel'Delar (The Battered Hilt quest) to reward a warglaive appearance, or maybe just a ton more quests from the past if they can be added in Legion?
for the casual movie goer, where do you think this movie stands next to the Hobbit, for them
next movies will follow the lore or it will be something from next (legion example), expansions?
I'm not sure they understand the concept of a "Global" premiere tho
Question for Legion. What exactly is the design plan for elemental shaman, will they be viable for the first time in 4 years, or just another carry spec again?
Paula Patton - What was the hardest part about playing Garona?Daniel Wu - What did you like most about the character of Gul'Dan?Robert Kazinsky - Did you like playing Orgrim?Everyone - What was your favourite part about the movie?I really can't wait to see the movie for myself! It's going to be awesome!
I went to see the movie last night. Was not disappointed, except for the fact that I don't yet know when to clear my shedule for the sequel I hope is coming soon :PWon't say anything more although I really want to, but I also don't want to spoil stuff for others.I have a (bunch of) question(s) for the actors who weren't WOW-players before they started participating in the movie:Have you started playing since accepting this project? Was it mainly for research purposes, or out of personal curiousity? Has that shed a different light on how you otherwise would have portrayed your character? Have you gained more personal insight in what people like Rob Kazinsky (as an avid player) are driven by to be so enthousiastic about this project? And are you still continuing to play now that the movie is done?If you haven't played the game at all during filming: why not? Did you feel that that choice would leave you with a more objective perspective or something along those lines? Did you start playing the game after filming was done, or still have no intent to do so? Why so?I think you all did a very good job in making this movie, so my great thanks for that :)
Congratulation for the awesome opportunity ^^I was wondering if you could maybe ask them what their plan is for Legion post-launch, such as number of patches/raids and such !
Everyone - Do you prefer Horde or Alliance, and why? Edit: Everyone - Did you know about World of Warcraft before you auditioned? Where did you hear about it?Edit #2: Fixing some words :P
Gratz ladies! You deserve it!
my question is, Warcraft lore is very deep, what problems or concerns did you face with wanting to tell the whole story and not having enough time to get into all the details.
Q. Is Warcraft's first movie series conceived as a trilogy? Has work on the second part already begun?
Question: what are your exact plans with Outlaw rogue? As much as I love the idea of being a swashbuckler/outlaw/pirate, I find the rotational abilities of the Outlaw rather dull, they're almost a complete revamp of the current Combat ones. The survival hunter, the other revamped spec, has gotten way more love and ideas put into it, so I know it's possible.. It's just a shame the rogues aren't getting that much love :(
Question for Toby - Would you like to come back for another movie? We've heard you'd like to play Thrall.Question for Rob - If there is gonna be a sequel, are you excited to see the development of Orgrim?Question for Travis and Paula - I have seen the movie myself, so was there actually any love between Lothar and Garona?
Robert Kazinsky ---- Did your TV show Second Chance get cancelled because of crappy ratings or because you were busy playing the role of Orgrim for this movie?
I had pre-purchased a pant load of tickets... I just got a refund. Sorry. I was ignoring the reviews, but I found myself dreading having to go see it. My friends and family agreed.I hope it does well and I look forward to watching it at home. But it is obvious they purposely gutted this story via hack editing and no re-shoots where needed because they knew millions of dreamy eyed fans would not care. They instead doubled down on making the FX look stellar to cover up the laziness. So many reviews from people who loved the film to those who hated it all seem to agree the pacing is really terrible. I mean-I keep reading and hearing there are times in the film that months or years pass and they give no clear idea that this happened. I am just not going to throw money at any studio who pulls this 1990's George Lucas nonsense.I am sure the Director's cut will be worth the price of a Blu Ray and they will have time to reedit transitions. I am just not going to allow a bunch of execs to lean on my trust and fan loyalty to take money out of wallet. Blizzard just did that to all of us with WoD's incomplete expansion that ironically is also missing the middle chapters.
To Daniel Wu: What was your favourite part about playing the villain?
