I actually thought it was a decent movie on many levels, but not on all obviously. And I purchased it on Blu-ray basically to promote/support more movies. That was before I started hating the game though. :-)

I saw it on the list of movies (is Australian) and that it was actually doing quite well on the most viewed list.

Despite the storylines going all over the place. Overall the movie is good. Liking the visual as well.
Also like the fact that, as of this comment, it's still the highest-grossing video movie.

(Fun Fact: While Duncan Jones was talking about the movie two years ago. I said something, a little off, and got corrected by him. How embarrassing. lol)

I can't say I enjoyed the movie nor found the plot compelling but I would like to see them try their hand at animated shows.

i watched it again. for netflix standar is pretty good nerdrage still.

I would have preferred a movie sticking to the lore more. Dalaran not floating already, Medivh not being crushed and redeemed with friendship…chop his possessed head off and drain the life from Khadgar aging him. Medivh not opening a portal to free everyone and save the world etc

Visually is was perfect and aside from the story mishaps it was really great

It would have been better to make it all animated, with the quality the orcs had, but then it would wven more costly. And they should have started with the war of the ancients!

All I need is the sword and shield to complete my Alliance Paladin transmog, but it's not available anymore :( :( :(

It was a bad movie, that’s why it failed in the US. Considering other fantasy movies with Orca did exceptionally well in the US there is no reason other than the movie was just bad.

I would watch any warcraft movie. I enjoyed this one, but I wish they would stick to the lore. I really hope more warcraft-movies will be made!

Kinda glad the other movies didn't get made. Who wants to watch "Orcs: The Trilogy" for six hours?

I have to wonder, honestly, if you hate the game, why are you here? I'm honestly not trying to offend, but lately the hate coming from people for no reason is really starting to bother me. I try to stay away from Reddit and these wowhead comments like everyone used to avoid the wow forums back in the day, but I slipped tonight.
If you hate the game, and you're not interested in it at all, why stay, exactly? I just want to understand

I care about the game because it used to be good, and I still play it. And the consumer should always try and make the product better and not be naive. I've probably played this game for a longer time than most of the current developers have been at Blizzard.
And a lot of things suck. Plain and simple.

But of course there are sort of two parallel causes. One is that it's just bad, and the other is that I am desillusioned with many of the same old systems and designs. And I can easily see the time I am wasting on stuff that has less and less value to me personally. But also, and once again, by design.

That's reasonable. I appreciate the actual answer. I disagree - personally - I most likely have more time with this game than the actual developers like you, and I agree that we should strive for a better product. I really dislike the lore. The whole premise for this expansion is too far fetched to actually care about, but I find the actual game's systems have never been more fun in the game's history, once again personal opinion though. As I personally enjoy the gameplay a lot, I think this expansion has been quite good so far, with a lot of downsides, but overall good for me.

If you've been seeing the comments not only here but on reddit as well, the game has been getting unnecessary hate. I've seen many players that quit and just stick around to bash the game without actually caring about the game or the players, which is what bothers me the most. Starting to get sick of the playerbase more than the actual game, which is really dissappointing. Coming from games like Warframe or Dungeon Defenders where the community was the best part, it just sucks. I guess the playerbase has always been like this, though. I remember back in TBC to Cata days where people avoided forums like the plague for this exact reason, I guess it's just a lot easier for those people to get on the mainstream sites though.

Edit: I agree with what xenolithix said above me, if you hate the game like you said, quit. There is no reason to keep playing it if you don't care about it and actually dislike your time on it. As TB said it a long time ago (paraphrasing) "Don't waste the free time you could spend playing other games being miserable. Your free time is limited, for God's sake"

Warcraft is the movie equivalent of a pug run full of first-timers through Wailing Caverns. Is it fun? Absolutely. Is it also a total mess? Yup. There is a great film/and or series to made from the Warcraft franchise but getting the necessary funds/talent involved is going to take a miracle.

good movie, watch it if you have netflix

well well, if the Game is death and not anymore worth to play, Activation-Blizzard sounds logic move from a Game studio to a Video Producer...

Apart that it was added a week ago, at least in Germany, I have seen it out of curiosity a while ago and do not feel like watching it a second time.
