With the removal of dungeon bonus XP and the other leveling nerfs, I was expecting an XP event before the new Expansions. I guess Ill keep playing my Paladin and NOT leveling any new toons in the future.. 120 levels is way too much. Its redonkey.
Life is the most vulnerable forces on wow universe, they can be controlled by the void or be slaved and consumed by fel or even transformed to the undead Since the void got rid of their hard foe, the fel's legion (unfortunately by us with the help of the light forces) the next logical threat to them would be Death so I think Arthas, bolvar and sylvanus knew that the death is the only force that could defeat the void and maybe that's why the light trying to make a holy undead to fight the Void tooDEATH seems to be the most reasonable force to fight and defeat the void since its not easy to be controlled.PS: i'm a diehard alliance (12 chars)so please don't think iam defending sylvanus but maybe just maybe its an another " sacrifice everything slogan thing
Morally «Burn it till ashes» grey like
Forsaken queen is shaping up to be one real evil women. What saurfang did in the alliance side of the quest maybe makes me think garrosh v2 later? Seige of undercity and maybe Gilneas as the old wolf probably goes off the deep end?edit: saurfang not being garrosh, read the first sentence i know someone is going to jump that gun.
Welp.
It was fine for Garrosh to go ham because he was right, but not for Sylvanas? I bet she has plenty of reasons to hate Alliance thanks to Mr. Greymane and most recently his interruption from her attempt to gain control over that Stormheim valkyra. I bet she's not even mad, not a little ;)
You get the alliance mount olso.
Blizzard deserves to be knocked down several hundred million in annual revenue or so after this. I don't care what they have done to Sylvannas, she's Sylvannas nothing here broke her character or anything like that. What's not cool is that they treat their player base like we're all children and will eat up whatever they dish out no matter what it is. The expectation was only that they would do something more interesting than Sylvannas burning and/or ordering the tree burned down, and that expectation was fed by Blizzard addressing angry responses to people correctly guessing that. They told us there was more to it. No there is not more to it. Sylvannas is straight up evil and instigating a war. That's the reality and that's fine, but lying to us and playing up the "morally grey" bs and telling us the cinematic would set all these things straight and so on is not okay.I will straight up never pre-order another Blizzard product ever again. I will play BFA because I have been on Beta and really dig what's happening there, but the straight up flat out lies and deception here is not okay. The fact that the story the way it is presented is also quite legitimately terrible in every sense of a proper narrative story is just insult to injury. I'm totally digging BFA...but this lead up to it is completely awful and makes no sense.I mean Sylvannas has already gone further than Garrosh did at the end of MOP when we decided to stop him. The civilians in orgrimmar that resisted can be rescued for the most part. So she's purely evil, everyone knows it now...and we're somehow still following her. I would be much more motivated if she wasn't part of the Horde anymore cuz this $%^& just does not make sense.A sensible storyline would have had a theme of anarchy and chaos with us kicking Sylvannas out of the Horde and having to gain all these new allies, while the better organized Alliance seeks retribution for Sylvannas' crimes and sees us as complicit. So we're forced to fight a war we don't want but not forced to follow the newly christened Lich Queen. I don't think anyone would have complained about that.
Just tried if you complete the quest with anyone will also get other factions mount for your Ally or Horde chars.
Great - one Alliance city down ... three more to go! Burn 'em all!For the Horde!
Can't we skip doing the quests on alts, just like we could for Chapter 1 of the event?
From the Lightbringer to the scourge of the Kaldorei again. It's hard to be a paladin these days :D
Really stupid writing. I hoped we were done with that after the Garrosh and WOD debacle. Seems not. Also, as a player who's not tied to one faction and enjoys playing both, I'm tired of the Alliance being the good guys ALL the time. Warcraft 2 and 3 were nuanced, even Wrath up to Mist were. In Warlords there wasn't much faction war. In Legion, Sylvanas was already acting tyrannical, and so was Genn, the problem is that anytime Genn COULD do something wrong and rash, Anduin intervenes. It's really damn time the Alliance does something bad (AND justified, unlike this tree burning...)
I don't even know where to start with this...they hyped up this and it's just oh yeah Sylvanas burns it down no effs given. Then she says afterwards on horde side that she "did not foresee this outcome"...eh?Also, three mediocre quests with minimal dialogue followed by one significant story piece...Blizzard haven't learned a thing from the timegated Broken Shore nightmare.
