interesting there is a white banner too. Maybe for when Tyr was there? idk
Finally can leave that circle of a city! Oribos is terrible.
Ahh, there's Nozdormu. I mean we knew he'd be here but don't think I saw him in screenshots yet. It begins.
This is gorgeous. Really loving the design style and themes so far for this expansion, it feels like they're going full-on high fantasy and it is SO welcome after the weird android stuff in Shadowlands. It's all vibrantly colorful and detailed too, such a visual treat.
I hope there's a dragon rolling around in the bank gold.
I really like the shop banners, will make it easy to identify buildings without an addon. As for it not feeling alive, this is just the setup remember. We are in phase 1, it’ll get there and this looks like a nice start.
Would be cool if this dragon banker sitted on the top of the mountain full of gold and treaures, like Smaug.
This looks GORGEOUS! I can't wait to explore it! I LOVE the dragons as vendors, bankers, stable masters, etc it looks so goofy & whimsical & fun all at the same time. I do hope some of the emptier buildings are filled in a little more! But, this *is* Alpha. Also, SNAHKSTRAZA!
Dragons in our world have been known to hoard treasures and gold, so to have a dragon as our banker is a really cool twist on that!
Look super cool place to hang out :)
it looks so good! i've been excited for this ever since they announced we were getting a new main city. loving it so far!
Blizzard should create new buildings with transparent windows. In the Vanilla WoW all windows were opaque textures because of hardware limitations of the usual gaming PCs at that time, and they rarely changed that. But that was in 2004, and today even low end gaming PCs should be able to render the outside area and NPCs visible through windows, when you are inside of a building. Similar it should be possible to see the people inside, when you walk past the building. In the medieval era glass was not perfect, so the transparency of the green and blue color channel could be lower, to create the effect of looking through glass of an old building. I could imagine that locations like the cathedral of Stormwind would look much better with "modern" windows.
