People complain Shadowlands was broken and unfinished when it came out, yet it was the Beta and Alpha Testers who said it was ready and said everything was good.
So yet again a big chunk of lore will be in a book, awesome
Lol. Players are like I don't care if it's done, just release it.Company releases unfinished game.Same players then complain game is unfinished and buggy lol.Personally I don't mind. This whole still stuck in Shadowlands thing is funny.Like just don't play Shadowlands. Farm older mounts, pets, toys, grind some gold, earn missing achievements, farm some transmog. You don't have to be raiding, m+ or PvP all the time. I feel that just creates burnout.
Oh no, another book containing core pieces of the lore instead of putting them in the game. :(
Usually im on the 'Don't release it until it's ready' camp, but if they dont get some fresh content out sooner, this game is looking dire. Shadowlands lack of content has been way too much, when competetors are pumping out patches so much quicker & more frequent.
A novel eh? Alright boys, who wants to take bets that Steve Danuser has Anachronos killed off so he can push Chromie into being the new leader of the bronze when Nozdormu hits crazy town?
4 and a half new zone, no new feature besides the dragon class… not quite sure what’s taking that long to develop lol…Worrying to say the least…
DF will not be out this year. Season 4 MIGHT start before the end of the year. SOTFO barely has the Horde HoF closing this week. Since BFA, each raid tier/season lasted over 6 months after Horde HoF closed. Sonce MOP the final season has been 10+months. If DF was expected to be out this year, there wouldn't be a season 4 because season 3 would last the normal 10+months of a final season. Season 4 is to prevent Season 3 from being another WoD with a 16-month final season.
What is the next WoWhead post? DF gonna have dragons? Amazing Sherlock
9.2 ends June9.2.5 starts June 9,2,5 ends oct/nov10.0 PREPATCH is oct/nov10 PREPATCH ENDS Jan/feb10.0 xpac is Jan/feb How did so many of you forget prepatches exist lolThey could also range from 1-2 months maybe more but df is ahead they will want a shorter range and the main thing that causes xpac delays ect is them struggling a numbers game because high Enders constantly claiming things aren’t balanced until they get an edge for their top pvps/raiders. Shouldn’t be tht much of a hassle if dragon riding is the only major system the talent tree is reusing things not much new stuff. They been working on this since the day Alex was fired as only he knew what’s next so mid bfa that’s why the plot went off rails. They has to lead it into the first thing Steve was going to be prepared for aka DF which is his legion and that means he needs fast patches to compete with legions 77 day patches more exploring and adventure focus vs systems and competitive focus a breathe of fresh air more structured after ffxiv perhapsIf anything longer then DF is a failure because they are way ahead in development on this they confirmed meaning the teams are just declining maybe after the mass firings and so many carriers leaving hmmBest xpac was legion it had a 77 day deadline devs are like y’all’s devs are humans who drift off and do the best work last second. Proof is they always wait for final patches to fix things it’s human nature. No extreme deadlines = no rush = nothing gets done on time. So the true hope may lay with Microsoft whenever the deal goes thru finalized since it was said Microsoft will have their devs breathing down blizz neck to insure no more controversies and ppl keep on track.
I don't think that there is a reliant way to predict something based on book's release date. Tides of War was released one month before MoP, while The Shattering was released 3 weeks before the release of Cataclysm, so we were far from the "4 months after the book" theory. And I don't see them launch the xpac in 10 months...
Lmao, what do you mean "hint"? Of course it's 2023, the random Season 4 at the end of Shadowlands didn't already clue everyone ?
I think this is a conclusion that is clearly reaching for as far of a release date as possible, you talk about how 2 xpacs had 4 months and 1 had 2 months (including a delay) and so Dragonflight's must be 5 months?I'm not saying you're wrong so much as I find it weird how you basically went against all your data to reach a conclusion that doesn't quite fit within it unless there are days of release within the months that support your claim (i.e. the others released books at the beginning and xpacs at the ends of the month) but if that is the case why not include that?
