Time is Running Out on the Winds of Wisdom 50% Experience Buff!

If you’re just returning after a hiatus from World of Warcraft, leveling another character (or two), or preparing to get ready for the Dragonflight expansion then this is the perfect time to jump into the game. Beginning the week of October 4 with each region’s local weekly reset, all World of Warcraft* players level 10-59 will gain the experience buff called “Winds of Wisdom,” which will increase experience gains by 50%!

Don’t delay. The winds will shift once more when the new dracthyr Evoker becomes playable during the Dragonflight pre-expansion patch on November 15, and the experience buff will no longer be available.

* Experience boost not available in World of Warcraft Classic titles.

They're taking it out because they're moving SL into chromie time and drastically reducing the total XP required for 1-60. If that's the case, then that's why they are removing Winds... would be too much of an XP boost otherwise.Comment by ScaryfoxI was hoping to take advantage of this more since I spent most of the time on my main hunter. That's until I get reminded of why that's the case, and it's not because I have a lot of things started on him.

On the plus side, I'm looking forward to next week. Not only for the Dracthyr (their starting experience was surprisingly fun), I think not requiring so much EXP for the next level with help. If yes it's best time to park your alts at 50.

Personally I'm lvling as much as I can because I wanna make an alt army and squeeze some gold from callings and mission tables until DF hits. We don't know if/when we can start earning gold, I guess only after hitting 70.Comment by SquishyyWho cares. This buff is useless, they literally add it to try get people to sub early to level alts and then they release the xpac xp nerf later on which is either the same or stronger. Harldan has tested it several times and it is in fact faster to level from 10 to 60 with the new Chromie time than it is to level from 10 to 50 now with the buff.
