Thrall Location

Much has changed for the Horde while I was away. But I will do my part to ensure its survival.

Overlord Geya'rah EventWarlords of Draenor

Overlord Geya'rah: Keep an eye out for any who still obey Sylvanas!
Overlord Geya'rah: And remember the lesson to be learned from her.
Overlord Geya'rah: She was a strong warchief. She did whatever it took to achieve victory.
Overlord Geya'rah: But she fought only for herself, not for the Horde!
Overlord Geya'rah: We were nothing to her! She abandoned her own people!
Overlord Geya'rah: A great leader must have more than strength.
Overlord Geya'rah: They must be true to their people. They must live and die for them!
Overlord Geya'rah: Do not forget this. We will not repeat Sylvanas's mistakes!

Overlord Geya'rah: Go'el.
Thrall: Geya'rah.

So.... would they be sister and brother..... or.... how does that work lol.

Some flavor in the world is something I love to see, and just go around and explore. Classic really reignited my interest in a lot of older things on retail.

Wow that is... incredibly unsatisfying.

Personally, I'm still of the opinion that she was going to be written as AU Garrosh, but it was changed late in the game because Blizzard realized "Oh wait, literally everyone would hate that with a passion... well, we'll change her to Thrall, but make her look and act like a female Garrosh anyway."

I need a moment where they talk about it, where they learn who each of them are, maybe she can even become a shaman?

Just like the Lutece brothers in Bioshock Infinity

Essentially, yes. At least biologically, provided alt!Durotan and alt!Draka aren't noticeably different from the MU versions.

Otherwise, they'd just be two unrelated Orcs.

Though Thrall's heritage probably isn't exactly unknown information in the MU, so Geya'rah has a good chance of knowing who he is. Especially since they have the "same" parents.

Who knows how genetics work with MU and AU parents.

The Thrall of AU Draenor does not exist, nor does the MU Azeroth of Geya'rah. Technically speaking, she's the "Alternate Thrall" from another timeline, but in terms of biology, they would probably most closely be step-siblings.

Well, AU Garrosh is in the game, he was corrupted by the light, it says it during the maghar event quest.

Pretty sure she mentions her brother died at birth as well.

I hope they make them interact more in the future

Well, yeah, they are siblings for sure. Their parents are the same, they have the same set of genes no matter the timeline. Some might consider them twins, but that is prolly a bit more speculative.

I never considered that character to be AU Garrosh. I always figured he was more like AU Garrosh's younger half brother who never had a chance to be born in the MU. Remember they would have had to have had different mothers.

Of course she knows who he is, she uses his damn birth name. Nobody calls Thrall Go’el unless they know. Question is; Does the name Geya’rah mean the same?

Comment by Sckhar

That makes me think, how old are our characters in the lore already? I mean, we've seen wrathion born, we've been fighting before Geya'rah was born and now they both look like adults, our characters are probably ancient already lol

anduin was a child in vanilla, a teenager in cataclysm and pandaria, and now a young man.
so warcraft time is pretty much real time i'd say.

what means its now 19 years since the battle of hyjal in warcraft 3
