Well, as a multiboxer who mostly does raw gold farming (that i spend mostly on transmogs and mounts) and i multibox run old raids for even more collectables, i don't think i do anything bad to the economy or the auction house. Sure, i do sell mounts sometimes that i get while farming but i do my best to sell them either in trade chat or only put 1-2 on the auction house at once. You really shouldn't generalize all the multiboxers, even as one i do agree that herbing, mining can be very annoying againts them (yes, even as a multiboxer)...but removing or restricting multiboxing isn't the solution, they need to solve, change how herbing or mining works. On the other hand, it's no different than a well coordinated group playing together. I totally get your point why you hate on multiboxers and i can agree with most of your points and reasons but not.every.multiboxer.is.bad.There are multiple ways to be helpful as one, for example i provided my guild for several tiers now with consumables.
Well i don't want to flood the comment section with this, especially under a post that im very happy about but i should be able to say anything (as long as it's not againts the rules) and not be harassed, targeted on a site like wowheadbut u do u
So the choice for this is done after the maw introduction, which is definitely one of the elements you don't want to do on every alt, as it it slow and long. For both Legion and BFA the introduction was skippable, yet with this new system it seems you still have to do the introduction, and then pick the adventure mode.
This is great !
"Main storyline quests will be skipped".So I can't do the main storylines in all the stones if I want to, if I choose Threads of Fate?
this is a great addition to the game. giving players options is what they want! now get over yourselves and fix the covenants!
Wondering if this grant the quest rewards transmog automatically.
This is indeed a good change in WoW! totally loved it! in BfA i rather prefer to level trough dg and island expeditions with the level potion than doing all zones again (not even touching the war campaign)
This is a great solution to the leveling fatigue of running alt after alt through an expansion. Though I doubt it, I hope zones added in future content patches continue this approach: completing the main storyline on one character and making it optional on others (where the main reward of those zones is Reputation, not experience, so balance things accordingly). The main thing I'd change is to make the Covenant introduction quests available immediately. Most importantly, they unlock the combat and Signature abilities, but they also enable the first soulbind, the mission table, etc. There's a break point between the intro and the rest of the campaign - a trip into the Maw - so it should be easy to keep the rest of the campaign locked at level 60.If Blizz doesn't want to let alts engage in Covenant progression of any sort until level 60, at least make the quests that grant the Covenant abilities available. This would be very easy for Kyrian and Necrolord. Night Fae is... a bit more involved, the introductory quest structure is different. Haven't tried Venthyr yet, but I think it's like Kyrian and Necrolord.
I really like the idea because it was really long to level all alts through the main campaign in BfA, however I would like to know whether it will be still somehow possible to obtain transmogrification appearances we normally pick up through the main questlines through other means or not.
It's a bit weird that the main story is skipped entirely. I was hoping I could still do it, but in whichever order I wanted to.
Finally! Something more alt-friendly. /huge fan
This is really good but seeing some people complain even about this is just insane. Stop crying about everything, tell devs good job when they do something good
This is cool, but I feel like it's a bit flawed in one way. Since you'll auto-complete all the quests without getting their rewards, let's say you did this on your only leather wearing alt you'll never get the leather transmogs unless you make a new character.
