Still have my Dartol's Rod of Transformation ....
I have to say while the Furblogs have some very interesting lore, I think there is another race with alot of untapped potential and mystery. A history so mysterious it could even possibly be a future content update! What strange race am I talk about? That race that's not even native to Azeroth at all...Worgen.What are the orgins? What were they before they were summoned to Azeroth? Where is their home? Why can their dimension connect to the plane that Azeroth shadows? What actually happened to Argul? Are there any other mystical object's like the scythe? So many questions! So much potential for a great content patch! Also what would a worgen furblog offspring look like?
I have to say, lore is one of the bigger reasons I've stayed long after the friends who introduced me to WoW left for Warhammer Online. whether it's just interesting history (Wolvar > Gorlocs imo) or game-shaping sagas (I've really come to like the Dragonflights and the Titans, and I may find myself going insane delving into Lovecraft's books soon enough after looking up the Old Gods), it really does contribute to the experience.
Alliance players listen up! This is how to turn into a Furbolg whenever you want to 100% to the rules!First off, go to Ashenvale. Make your way to Astranaar. Somewhere, I think in the inn, there will be a Night Elf Female giving out a quest, called Raene's Cleansing. It is a quest chain. Continue the chain until you get an item called "Dartol's Rod of Transformation". At this point, do not I repeat DO NOT CONTINUE THE QUEST CHAIN! If you complete it, you will never be able to change into a Furbolg ever again. Dartol's Rod of Transformation can be used to turn into a Furbolg with a two minute cooldown. The buff duration is five minutes. If you receive damage the buff is cancelled.I don't know if The Horde can do this, but if they can't ; HAHA! Re-roll, IMO. This is one of the many vast reasons that The Alliance rule!
