Its interesting how WoW needs stat squishes so often when XIV has literally done... What, 1? Blizz and people mentality on damage numbers really need to be revised.
Boy oh boy! Almost time to break the game again!
I don't understand why they don't just reset levels to 50-60 every expansion thus keeping the ilvl the same at the end game and the max level the same for every new expansion like they did with in Shadowlands...only logical solution for this reoccurring problem they have after a few expansions after any reset...smh
Boo, I like having 20m health
Love all this information coming out in a trickle from random interviews.....
Prepatch? Hope that doesn’t ruin my last minute key pushing.
I hate that so muchNo haste, feel weak. If i want a boring gameplay i go on classic blizzard, not on retails.
jsut make sure to do it correctly for once and make sure dragon flight is soloable!
A stat squish should never be necessary. Numbers are just numbers. They just express different values, but if you only consider their inherent nature, there is no difference between a 1 and 5,000,000,000. What troubles people is always a derived meaning of these numbers. In other words, it is only in many players' heads and should not warrant a squish. If you are a solo collector of mounts and transmogs from past raids or dungeons, you should also try to get everything you are hunting for before the squish hits. Like last time, the squish will make it almost impossible for solo players to survive in the most recent legacy raids and dungeons (for Midnight, that will be Dragonflight and Shadowlands). You will probably need to wait up to 1 year until you once again have a chance to survive in the higher tiers of these raids and dungeons.
Someday, Blizzard will learn that they don't need to raise the level cap every expansion. But it is not this day...
I don't know whether this was brought up somewhere or I just misunderstood their communication, but at Shadowlands I expected that such a squish would become the norm. The new expansion is 50-60 with respective ilvls and stuff. And all the previous expansions are 10–50. So they wouldn't have to reinvent any numbers, just squish the "current" expansion when it turns into one of the "old expansions". It seemed crazy that they decided to continue above lvl 60 once again in DF.All the issues brought up in this thread (old content being OP, trinkets being broken) would be a non-issue by now if they had polished the same squish if DF and TWW.
