Gonna call it now- they're going to try and stick Arthas into Anduin's body. lmfao
The Jailer didn't seek Arthas out. Arthas only searched for Frostmourne after he heard about it's myth and wanted to guarantee his victory against Mal'ganis. He wasn't "drawn" to it even with the retcons. As for why they want/need Anduin, I bet it's going to be some cheap reasoning like "As a priest he channels both the Power of the Light and Shadow of the Void and thus is a perfect weapon against Death." or something.
Anduin called the light within Maw. He's one the greatest light wielder. Obviously he's bigger than Arthas and his Father. You Arthas+Varian sims need to chill a bit.
I think they're aiming their sites higher. They want control over The Light. We've seen the Light and Void both encroaching on the Shadowlands. My theory is the jailer isn't randomly choosing folks like Arthas or Anduin. He wants the Light. For what I don't quite know yet.
If the writers have any sense she'll be called on this hypocrisy; like, she might end up achieving her stated goal but then will have to be imprisoned and/or destroyed afterwards.
I'm just hoping they don't pull another Arthas, using Anduin. Because Anduin has kind of grown on me. Also there's what losing another young royal to the same darkness as the last, would mean about the Alliance way of doing things, it would be a fascinating story point to explore, at least . lol
I hate how cartoony Slyvanas sounds, like she is chewing the scenery with how over the top villainous she's acting. She also needs some nasal spray, still not used to this new voice actor.
I knew sylvanas is the only one.FOR THE DARK LADY.
The more I see it, the more I get convinced that Sargeras is working voluntarily with the Jailer, it might be the dreadlords that sew the lie that made him mad against life, but I don't think for a second Arthas is a plan that is unbeknown in between the Jailer and Sargeras. The Jailer wants Azeroth's titan soul, Sargeras also wants it. Sargeras also wants to kill everything. I don't think this is a coincidence.Likely the veil between life and death and the Arbiter herself are maintained by Azeroth's soul. (This world is a prison!) To extinguish is completely, they need Azeroth dead. That also means the red beam of surge disabled the Arbiter for the same reason. Sargeras' blade had the most chaotic energies that was red. Sargeras' stabbing moment was the moment Shadowlands broke. The Arbiter stirs when she senses our presence in Oribos. Because we're of Azeroth. What is the Jailer going to do with Anduin is beyond me. Is power of light some sort of key that breaks the bond between 2 realms ?Just like we unlocked N'zoth with titanic power, light unlocks this "prison" ?Is that why they wants a conduit of Light like Anduin, to me that is so.
The weapon is Garrosh.
I love how the player character is walking casually through the TOWER OF THE DAMNED and when he sees the big bad, he goes "oh I need to crouch to make my plate not rustle as much!"
I would say to those who think it's not Anduin, go back and rewatch the BfA trailer. After Anduin does his priest bubble thing, watch Sylvanas very carefully. She smirks at him. I've said since the first time I saw it, that she's up to something with him. The one thing I think/hope is in Anduin's favor is that I think Sylvanas actually has a soft spot for him because he was nice to her and didn't think badly of her when everyone else did. I hope that will be his saving grace.
