Personally the Battle Rez should go to Priest over Paladin since two of the Priest specs (Shadow and Disc) are usually severely under-represented in M+. Yeah, yeah, bUt PoWeR iNfUsIoN, is an argument which holds 0 water when referencing at least Shadow who will almost always be using it on themselves. Also, Paladin has BoP (or Spellwarding) and Freedom which are both significantly more "useful" in keys as they straight up remove mechanics (Moroes Garrote, ID 3rd boss fixate, POST Master group soak, etc.).The only reason Holy Priest sees widespread usage in M+ right now is the spec is grossly overperforming. Priest toolkit isn't good for M+ and has historically been bottom of the barrel (again, especially Disc who sucks with a lot of the affixes like out of combat Grievous/Bursting).In a PERFECT world they just give things like BRez to every healer similar to XIV (with DK keeping it similar to SMN/RDM having it) and lust to like all casters or whatever and it would solve all these issues. I'm all for unique forms of utility like BoP or PI or Innervate or Gateways or whatever, but NECESSARY forms of utility like Lust and BRez shouldn't be potentially omitted from a group. Having to sit in queue waiting for a warlock to show up because you need a BRez and don't want to run 4-5 melee in Upper is annoying and shouldn't be "necessary".
yes, most players probably wont even go into myth the first week so why not.
Honestly, I don't really care when they release but what I do wish was in the game was a requirement that you have to complete a difficulty before moving up to the next (or at least have it so the leader of the party needs to have done that). I hate the feeling that you have to progress across multiple difficulties. If bosses were scaled right, this wouldn't be a problem at all but for the last few tiers, the end boss (or last couple of bosses) have been much harder than the first five bosses or so of the next difficulty level, which give much better ilvl rewards.
LFR wings being released so late is so awkward from a narrative perspective. "The Jailer was defeated, Champion! Here's how it all went down. Also, that wing won't open for a few more weeks. Please stop him!" Don't really care about Mythic, only a very small % of players actually do Mythic raiding anyway.
i think that would only extend the race i mean good for us viewers bad for the players as we saw last race okay given the last raid was overtuned but imagine they did not have another hc id before going into mythic
This doesn't matter for 90%+ of the player base. Just release them all at once.
I appreciate the normal/heroic week before the Mythic release. To me it kinda spaces things out and gives me (a player who isn't pulling crazy hours like the top 100 guilds) breathing room so it's not all such a manic rush to get through everything before the week ends. It also acts as sort of a natural practice week which I benefit from having. If my guild felt we had to split our time week 1 between both Heroic and Mythic it would be a lot more stressful. Rushing Heroic so we have enough time after to spend on Mythic.I feel like staggered releases help keep everyone from being overwhelmed surrounding big releases. Like the start of a new season or an expansion launch. An example of staggered releases I think everyone pretty much agrees with, as a good thing, is the period provided for leveling following an expansion release. Raids not being live right after the launch of an expansion was pretty positively received by the community.
Release all difficulties/all wings simultaneously. Players who want to plunge headlong into Mythic are welcome to do so and those who want to start with a different level aren't getting "an advantage" or being penalized for not being Mythic raiders. And frankly it might be interesting to see how these current "world first" raiders do on Mythic difficulty if they don't have the advantage of doing split runs/alt runs and practicing on lower levels as they gear up.TLDR: REAL Mythic raiders can be measured as those who go in without advantages bought by gold or split raiding to gear up.... and still are the first to conquer a raid.
it makes no difference if the raids get released weeks apart or all, all the top raiding guilds practise their runs in beta...
Definitely.Maybe then i can finish mythic in a reasonable time
I hope they don't do what they did during Sanctum where you had to sit there and farm normal+heroic mode for weeks on end until everyone got their 2 and 4 pieces before you could actually do mythic. It cuts how much time you can spend on the tier by almost a month.
It was the paladins ability in WC2 and they had a mass rez in WC3. So logically it should go to Paladin. As far as raid releases I think they should just avoid the U.S. holidays altogether basically November 15-Jan 3 are blacked out. And just release them all at once.
