They gave us so much hope with going back to 60. BlizzCon 2019
Well, it is still early in development :p I really hope for greatness
...No new talents?Oof.
nice to see but woud prefer the old trees or smth new
Can I get a clarification? The whole lvl cap is reduced to 60 or it's just like that in Shadowlands (meaning we're normally 120 but 50 in Shadowlands?)?Edit: yeah it seems the squish is a thing. Eh.
Wow interesting I was wondering how this was going to work thanks WoWhead
Oh, and I thought they learned a lesson after Classic's launch... There's still hope for the new talents though, I'm looking forward to seeing what the new talent progression will be after we hit lvl 60
Yikes. Hopefully the new factions will decide your final level talent.
I don't think they will go back to the old way. Too many new people didn't like it. It's easier now and they want to keep it that way for the new people.
Hopefully this will be better than having a 15 level gap between rows like we have right now.
Why no new talents :( is there anything else new except a new zone?
I'm okay with this really, I'm not into Classic talents.
I'm confused about the level squish... with the Heroic and Epic pre-purchases, there is a level 120 boost. (Source: The official Blizzard WoW game site, pre-order page)
I was really hoping for new talents system like old fashioned and loved talent trees.
It will ultimately boil down to the ability progression, I'd think. Nothing prevents them from simply adding a new talent tier, of course, but I just hope they don't apply another drought to the period between 50 and 60, or take the route of frontloading the abilities into an artifact of sorts. Too early to tell, of course. :)
Hopefully since this is all early they will be adding a new talent or more skill modifications before it goes live.
I'm not really sure this accomplishes the stated goal of making every level count. It's just the same thing, albeit more frequently that on live. There needs to be alot more than the current talent system and a squish to make every level count. It's early days though, plenty of new info to come!
