Why? please just have the loot scale past 15... Stop forcing players to do content they have no interest in.
Without a weekly lockout, this is necessary.
I agree with this decision. Dungeons should not give players better rewards than raids. Mythic+ requires much less effort than Heroic raids, so I think that's fair.
so they introduced the M+ as alternative way of gearing to raids, and now they not only stop your rewards barely above normal raid, they will $%^& it for people who want to push keys, as they will have to raid to do M+...what the #$%^ is point of thich change exactly? what exactly was wrong with the rewards we have now - end of run reward below mythic, weekly chest on mythic raid level?best gear still droped from raid, and m+ was rewarding, now there will be no reason to run more than weekly, as the reward will be so useless its not worth the time...
I don't think M+ end of dungeon loot should reward higher ilvl than Heroic does, but it should definitely be on par. Really makes no sense. If you're already raiding Mythic, why would you want to have to dedicate an extra night to mandatory Heroic farm for the ilvl? It seems much better to me to be able to flex into M+ keys as your personal schedule allows, as it worked for all of BFA...Maybe this will just be implemented for the opening weeks of the tier to prevent World First Race players from being able to trade Heroic gear as freely as they have in the past? Since they can't buy up all the Titanforged/Corrupted gear from AH anymore. If that was the case and the restrictions were lifted a couple weeks into the raid tier, I guess it wouldn't be so bad.
As someone who doing both heroic raiding and mythic plus keys (around 20-22 now), I guess we goin back to the one run \ week for the weekly chest style. Even if mythic plus is fun, and if you run more you get more choices in the weekly chest... but it's still meh. It's again pushing the people towards raiding, heroic raiding is very easy, and usually the first few mythic boss as well.The hit is for those people, who having a guild which is too small or unstable for regular heroic raiding (and I guess many guilds got underpop during BFA)...Should be at least equal item level with the heroic raiding, really.
I hope they remove M+ from the game entirely such waste of time...
RIP M+I can understand the m+ gear being weeker than Mythic raid gear. But with it being worst than HC gear i dont see the point of doing M+ at all. I guess im going back to logging in twice a week to clear the raid.Removed
This is straight up bad, i get it blizz wants to make raids the end game content but we all have to agree that past a +20 m+ the dungeon difficulty is higher than a mythic raid boss. I would say make raid still the highest ilvl on the las bosses but fix the gear, since they will introduce the class sets again and they also had the raid azerite trait back in bfa why not make a m+ and a raid class set where they only work in their separate content, by now majority agrees that m+ is its own content at the same lvl of side content as pvp where a player chooses to focus on it and raid to progress with the guild. Instead of raid to get your best gear so you can go pvp and m+ since those 2 are different style content in nature. Many may question the disparity between mythic raiding and m+ but you need to see as the time needed for each is the same since m+ is equally or more difficult and in a dungeon its not the same boss over and over again where you just have to overcome a handful mechanics, its a full timed run where that changes every week so even the same boss or the same pack of mobs will always be different.So in the end each of those has its own value and i agree with raid being the highest in the eyes of blizz but the 'side content' should have something unique to it as well, like the pvp stat once was to the pvp community
I'm a main M+ tank and DPS in raid. This is the conundrum. I'm forced to raid as my off-spec in raid to enable being competitive in M+ (the real reason I play the game) at the highest level. Raid as DPS or even Tank could potentially require a different covenant than what is optimal in M+. Serious mythic raid guilds will not let you run non-optimal setups. Sooooooo ?
This change feels really bad. M+15 is harder than heroic raiding, and we already got less items to drop, why lower the ilvl? I much rather would see the loot go even higher from M+ so that getting a +20 done feels rewarding other than just a virtual score (rio).
