Patch 9.2 Eternity's End was revealed last week and with it, we got our first look at some of the new and changes to systems coming in Patch 9.2. As much of the information was scattered across multiple interviews and languages, we're summarizing everything systems-related in one location.
Patch 9.2 Interviews
The information in this post has been sourced from the following Patch 9.2 Eternity's End interviews. Please note that some of these interviews are in a non-English language.
Gamerbraves Interview with Steve Danuser and Morgan Day

Everything About Tier Sets in Patch 9.2
Tier Sets are returning to Shadowlands Patch 9.2! Here's everything that we know about these Tier Sets so far:
Has 2 set and 4 set bonuses. These set bonuses will " fun and unique benefits for a certain playstyle" and are trying to get rotations to become more fresh and unique.
Raiders will get their sets more quickly than everyone else from Bosses in the Raid.
If you don't raid, you will still be able to interact with the system through the Cypher system on Zereth Mortis, which will eventually unlock the Forge of Creation system.
This system allows you to earn a new currency, and spending it will allow you to take any item of appropriate item level and upgradable and turn it into a Tier set piece.
This allows all players to engage with the Tier system.
Can be obtained in the Great Vault.
Progenitor Tier Appearances
These are the known in-game appearances of the Tier Sets so far.
Left to Right: Shaman, Rogue, Monk, DK, Priest, Druid
Left to Right: Hunter, Warrior, DH, Mage, Warlock, Paladin
Some concept art was also shown of the Tier sets which have some different colors and more glow effects, so could these be the Mythic variants?
Everything About Legendaries in Patch 9.2
Two big changes for Legendaries are coming in Patch 9.2!
Double Legendary
Players will eventually be able to unlock the ability to equip two Legendaries simultaneously.
This will not be available at the start of the Patch and needs to be unlocked from the Cypher of the First ones system on Zereth Mortis.
When equipping two Legendaries, one of them must be the Covenant Legendary, and the other Legendary can be anything.
This unlock is
account-wide
.
Torghast No Longer Required
Torghast has been attached to player power since the start of the expansion, as it's been tied to the currencies needed to upgrade your Legendary. However, things are changing in Patch 9.2 as Torghast is being completely optional with some unique cosmetic-only drops.
Legendaries can be upgraded to a higher item level once again.
The currency that is needed to upgrade Legendaries will also come from Zereth Mortis, leaving Torghast as completely optional.
Torghast will get new mounts and new appearance rewards, with a difficulty increase with new mechanics and enemy types.
Sepulcher of the First Ones Raid
The Sepulcher of the First Ones raid is a new raid coming in Patch 9.2. Here's what we know so far.
There are 11 bosses in the raid:
This includes Anduin (8th boss) and the jailer Zovaal (11th boss).
Other bosses include the forces of the Jailer, Dreadlords, an Algalon=-like being called the Consular.
The raid will be locked to 8 bosses during the first week (up to and including Anduin).
The following week, all 11 bosses are available on Normal, Heroic and Mythic.
Class Changes
Unfortunately, not much is known about class changes in Patch at this moment. In addition to the systems above, this is what we do know:
There are no plans to change soulbinds in Patch 9.2. They will still function.
Updates to Conduits are coming.
It's assumed that there will be Covenant ability tuning, Covenant Legendary tuning (due to Double Legendary) and base class changes, but it's unconfirmed. We'll likely know more when the 9.2 PTR starts.
Solo Queue PvP Brawl: Solo Shuffle
Blizzard is trying a new PvP Brawl called Solo Shuffle in Patch 9.2, which is their take on solo queue, a commonly-requested feature by players.
It's a 3v3 arena where players will fight in every possible combination (assuming one healer on each side).
They want to see if it's a feature they can permanently add.
More information was added in a recent
Holinka tweet
.
Zereth Mortis
Zone Progression
Zereth Mortis in Patch 9.2 is a new zone where players will unlock many of the new systems and work to learn a new language.
Not too much is known about what we'll be doing in Zereth Mortis just yet.
There are seven stages of content unlocks.
Content includes World Quests and Daily Quests.
Cypher of the First Ones
Progression is tracked on the Cypher of the First Ones system, which is how players will learn to translate a brand new language. This system replaces new Renown levels in Patch 9.2.
We don't know too much about the Cypher of the First Ones, but here's what we do know:
As you upgrade the Cypher of First Ones, you'll eventually be able to translate some of the unknown language that appears everywhere, including on text boxes.
Progression unlocks include:
The ability to equip two Legendaries
The ability to fly in Zereth Mortis.
Unlock the Forge of Creation system, which allows you to craft Tier Set pieces.

I bet Arthas will be present at (or be) boss 9 or 10. Or maybe he will play a role in a possibel Jailer mythic-only phase
Please no more important lore hidden behind mythic-phases.
I think I leave Shadowlands for now and come back in 10.0. I hoped Anduin was final boss of 9.2, connecting Uther with Arthas and Anduins Lich King plot.
Then in 9.3 we eventually stopped Zovaal. However, it is better for the game to move to 10.0, if they take the feedback seriously.
They told us Zovaal the jailer was the final boss also said 9.2 is the final major patch which means last raid which clearly means he would be the last boss not anduin people have known for months 9.2 was the end they are so behind if they did a 9.3 it would mean patch 10.0 wouldn't launch till 2023

Hunter set made me quit
These statements make me lol and remind us just how many people need to move on from this game. Clearly nothing satisfies them other than complaining.
It's not worth quitting over but these "class sets" are trash they show absolutely no class fantasy it's still thematic to the raid instead of people's actual class no one wants to dress their dark spooky demon controlling warlock up like an angel >.<

I know that people miss Arthas, but he appeared in SL only as a device in Uther's story of him losing his way, and returning back on it. He won't serve any purpose now, since We know everything revolves around Zovaal, Anduin and Sylvanas.
And most probably she'll serve as the new Arbiter once Zovaal is dead.

Do we know if there are new Legendaries or Conduits?
In order to forge a brand new Legendary in 9.2, will we still need Soul Cinders and Soul Ash?
Both of these questions are fully answered in the article. Did you even read it before commenting?

You had me until the new system. I'm done with systems and as long as you keep adding new ones I will not resub. I miss playing but I don't miss the stupid systems.
So you just want to keep playing the same game in different places and against different models…?
No, people want systems that actually matter. How much time and effort was put into "Legendarys" in Legion. How is that holding up?Can anyone use that system? People want internal force, not external (Gear being exception). Your character getting stronger not just some borrowed power all the time...10.0 comes out and suddenly, remember the utility and dmg spell you got from the covenant you helped? Well they took it back....
Take a look of torghast, would been brilliant system, if was just cosmetic rewards and this stupid-fun 100 layers rogue style go nuts with your build and one-shot everything. They decided to tie it with player power and guess, what next second it's Choreghast, that you only do because you need your legendaries.
Yes systems aren't inherently EVIL, Blizzard just sucks at them, just like they suck at balancing.
