LiveblogTorghast Burnout

Originally Torghast required a key but they heard feedback that players wanted to run Torghast as much as they want.

There are a lot of different layouts of floors, many dynamic spawns of mobs. There's a lot of replayability.

Mounts & Mythic+ Reward

There's lots of cool ideas that they have for mounts but have no idea where to put them.

They'll be peppered all over the place including Torghast and the Maw.

There's a big scary elemental in the maw and the Shadowlands Season 1 Mythic +15 mount will look like that.

Torghast Minimap

Torghast minimap is unique as they needed to come up with a solution for some technical issues.

Their solution also created fog of war in the minimap.

Weapon Swapping in Mythic+

With no gear swapping in Mythic+, they never thought of weapon swapping until now. He's going to write it down.

Weekly Chest

Shadowlands will have multiple different options for the Weekly Chest

You'll be able to pull one piece from a lot of different options. If none of the options are enticing, you will be able to instead pick an important currency.

Castle Nathria

Lots of compelling stuff in the new raid.

Castle Nathria was built with a purpose, it should feel like people live there.

There's a portal boss, portaling players all over the place.

One of the bosses takes place on a large dance floor.

The final boss has multiple floors, but he also has mirrors

Legion Timewalking

They've been releasing timewalking dungeons from an expansion on a cadence.

It probably won't come out at launch but eventually.

Legendary Runeforged Powers

Thunderfury has a very specific look and power.

The goal with the Runecarver is that he could have created the returning legendaries -- they're sticking to set bonuses and Legion Legendaries.

Artifact Appearances

They're looking for Artifact Appearances to be used for every spec of the class rather than for the specific spec.

Different Shoulder Transmogs

It's something that they want to keep pursuing

There's been some concerns that Shoulders were designed as a pair, where the shoulders are not the same on each side, where they would clip or something similar.

Heirlooms

They removed the experience bonus from heirlooms.

They're looking to replace it with something that is not just extra experience that will be equally as beneficial and unique.

I guess with the revamped leveling being faster than it is with the buff and heirlooms this makes sense but then let us have stuff like past legendaries as heirlooms and give us bonkers leveling powers if we want. Goblin Monk, Worgen Shaman, Night Elf Paladin, etc etc.

I get that Shadowlands is streamlining and speeding up leveling a lot, but I think there is value in an option for people who want to pick it to level even quicker than the average player. That used to be one of the main purposes of heirlooms: they were something that let you level quicker than a new player or a player that didn't want to use heirlooms.

I hope they reconsider. They could remove the bonus xp from heirlooms and maybe add like an extra xp tabard or toy or something.Comment by maffuuHmmm no Experience Bonus on the heirlooms?
