Instead of having the "purchase and transfer" mechanism, why not make currencies shared for all characters (valor, soul ash, soul cinders, cosmic flux, ..etc)?

You can't really upgrade your gear with VPs for alts unless you grind the score on same alt as well.Edit:-Just noticed this "gem" of a typical Blizz catch-up roadblock/waste of time and currency.
Having played several alts to 2k+ io, cosmic flux becomes the real bottleneck. My 3.2k io main has like 30k or something, while most my alts are starved. If you do all zereth treasures and what not, you can quickly get enough for a 291 lego or two. But then you start to quickly starve out when you're looking to make your 4pc at the catalyst and multispec or make multiple leggos for whatever other reason. They really need to let us send cosmic flux to alts already, or up the acquisition rate (it's like half of the valor you get from m+ for example). Just get burned out when I want to try out multiple leggos/play multiple specs but I've got 0 cosmic flux to my name while my main sits with 30k and nothing to spend it on. All these currencies should be accountwide, if they don't make changes like that for Dragonflight I'll probably just move on.

So can they also hotfix it in so that anyone with KSM can upgrade gear on alts without requiring M+ score? You know, like season 1..

The mythic + gear is236 ilvl which is -Mythic 0 gear
As few mentioned above it's 236 ilvl only and this is even more laughable. So, you waste 500 VPs to get a "random" M0 item when you can do a marathon of M0s and then start grinding low keys for chance at getting higher ilvl gear without wasting VPs.And make no mistake, this "random" piece of gear will soon start giving you dupes which means you just 100% wasted those 500 VPs that you could've sent to same alt with a 50 VPs lose each BoA box and still be able to use those for further upgrade the ilvl (once you eventually get enough score, which is another living in the distant past move still exist in this game).
A random 236 for 500 valor is such a waste of time, just let us send the valor to our alts even if there's a small cost.
only took them a whole expansion to do it.....
