As leader of the Sundered Flame, Scalecommander Sarkareth broke away from the rest of the dracthyr to forge a new future. He has since led his forces to Aberrus, intent on claiming the legacy he believes rightfully belongs to his kind and willing to do anything to obtain it.
On Mythic difficulty, this grants 2 applications of Oppressing Howl. Searing Breath and Mass Disintegrate can each remove one application.
That is definitely not the Void. That is just Sargeras coming back. Illidan is coming back wohooooooo! Hype!
100% this boss gona have secret phase.
dont worry guys its not an old god expansion
How far has Sarkareth gone? Also, I truly hope there are no old gold references from Abberus.

20 years of WoW and we still only have two (2) void models and both of them double as demons, including one of the warlock pets. What a mess…
That boss room is pretty hype tbh
A shame that the trash leading up to it is just reused Void Spawn, could have had some interesting thematic void-infused mobs, but the design of this entire area is fantastic, truly upping their game with these encounter rooms, cannot wait to see what this could all lead to.
That is so beautiful! However, I am not getting Old God vibes from this space. It isn't tentacles and Eyes and flesh-things. This is more cosmic-level Void, as in the all devouring blackness between stars.
I remembered from Old Gods, but is Azeroth safe?
I just skimmed by but man this fight looks epic. I hope they have epic music too. So my shaman can look all dramatic as his giant beard waves in the wind.
When reading about this and the books I did a bit of research and came upon C’thalpa in H.P. Lovecraft universe. A sentient magma who has six horrible children, one who corrupts and spreads in smaller pieces. What if this mother could be the mother of old gods who resides underneath Abarrus to be one of the embers to awaken or free the remaining two old gods? The reference to the smaller pieced duplicates could be Y’shaarj and the Sha, with each smaller piece of him to be weaker to his powers. The magma is where Iridikron goes to, to use against their enemies, the titans. To unleash old powers. However it could also be first against the aspects to use the embers to return Galakrond. We also mine Khaz’gorite, a direct link to the Hammer of Khaz’goroth, found in Neltharion’s Lair in the hands of a Drogbar near a pool of magma. A place where once something older than dragons recided.Another reference to C’thalpa is the mole like creatures that worship her, named Talpeurs. Keen for their touch. This is a direct connection to the Niffem, keen for their smell. This is speculation of course, but there are a lot of parallels. Especially the mole like creatures.
