You can also pull a trash pack through the wall in Mistcaller's boss room. Check the WF 26 video from Ellesmere or Nerftank and you can see them do it. For example: https://youtu.be/UDJUztq6-tw?t=866 or https://youtu.be/ya4EO5QcesE?t=890.
this is super old news, i saw groups doing this 2-3 months ago.
Just delete maze and make it so player can choose where to go. Those guessing games should never be added to timed content.Or at least make it so icon is always visible so you don't have to waste time going to each post checking for icon...
Why is Wowhead promoting the use of a bug? I understand this is apparently a "thing m+ groups do" but that doesn't make it any less of a bug. Obviously Blizzard doesn't want groups to kill those mobs, otherwise they wouldn't have tried to stop them from pulling them.Hopefully Blizzard stands up to its players by fully fixing the problem, or if they're afraid of player backlash at least solve the root of the problem by making percent easier to manage in an officially sanctioned way.I hate it when buggy, janky things like this become standard practice because the company is too afraid to act.
Another decent pack for count if you want to proc pride for the second boss, after you clear through the maze sometimes you are 2.5-4% off 60% pride. Just run to the boss area and hook to one of the other doorways and have your pet class pull a pack from one of the other rooms, since the last opening to the boss room doesn't trigger them to despawn.I find this a pretty chill way to do it and low stress on everyone if you are just doing a 15 keystone, obviously pulling mobs during the maze is best for time efficiency.
Ok so remember how they made changes to stop people from doing this? While it is unlikely to be something you will get caught doing/ temp banned for you should understand this clearly crosses blizzards threshold between clever use of game mechanics over to exploiting. Do not be surprised when Blizzard makes additional changes to remove the ability for players to pull these extra packs.
I for one enjoy the maze and the puzzle. I would not like if they got rid of it. The one comment I did like is they should keep the symbol shinning so you can just look back. Also is there not a way the can make the "correct" route always have the same count. Move the mobs with the pathing.
Best way to nerf the wall jumping is make it mess up your count.
I don't think they should remove the maze but they should have a set route every week (like MDI) and that route changes every week so that sorting the route out is much easier.
