Exactly why I did not purchase it. Cool that some people enjoy it, but not for me.
I bought it knowing exactly what it did and I only had 827 anima at the time and I have zero regrets.
Love how people didnt know a Heartstone Toy skin wouldnt act as its proper job. Did u all really think it was to go back to coveant XD
this just shows you no one reads the tooltip it's not like Blizzard encoded the message in a multi step quest chain that requires you to complete a lvl 15 mythic dungeonall people had to do was spend more then a nano second to read... and they didn't. honestly a very done social experiment
Toys rarely ever are useful items. Dont see how people thought it was an extra hearth, especially when Blizz has been adding cosmetic hearthstones for the past 3-4 years now.
All of this 'omg people need to read' crap is so unhelpful. Sure, people misunderstood what they were getting--and dare I say it's most likely from a place of wishful thinking. Travel in SL is an absolute burden right now, and I'm not talking about with the absence of flying. It takes far too long to get from point A to point B, and any route from zone to zone requires a long, drawn out flight through Oribos. A covenant-locked hearth like we were given for our Garrison and Legion Dalaran would've been very convenient. The cosmetic is cool, but that doesn't mean we can't or shouldn't also receive something functional to help with travel.
It honestly amazes me that so many people failed to read the item's description in-game ... the game tells you EXACTLY what the Covenant hearthstone is, literally all you have to do is read it. Do people buy random things off of Amazon without first reading the item's description?
I'm severely disappointed that it is not. No point in getting it really.
750 anima is nothing.
With all the hearthstone toys that have came out the last few years starting with the World Events in WoW and even the the Eternal Traveler's Hearthstone toy, it is not rocket science that these new ones from the Covenant's will function any differently. Each toy has its own animation in how it hearths you back to where you have your hearthstone set to. DUH!
It said in the tooltip that it would take me to Elysian Hold because that's where my hearth was set. It doesn't say "will take you to wherever your hearth is set". It's a little confusing, and there is precedent for hearths to different places with the Dalaran and Garrison hearth. And this item is advertised in the renown list as a feature of reaching this renown level.
The Emeni's soulbind tree allows you to set your Necrolord hearth "kidney" stone to any location! So basically you can set it to the necrolord covenant but you need Emeni's tree activated. At least I assume thats how it works ^^
Yep stupid from blizzard ;/
it was absolutely clear in the tooltip. And it is a toy.By the way you can use every hearthstone with every char. Not only the covenant one.
I wasted my Anima on this and I'm very disappointed.
